These 7 inch “Crystal Plastic” plates certainly not “Real Crystal” but they are a great substitute for holiday parties or get together when you want something much nicer than the plastic coated plates we've all used in the past. Much “sturdier” choice for your guests and family when serving foods, no matter if the foods being served are sandwiches, deserts, cookies, or a full meal! Lightweight , but sturdy so even the smallest hands of young or older children should be able to easily carry these with foods on the plate. Also seems to me would be a great choice for more senior citizens at meal or snack times. Packaging information also says the plates cups allergen free as they are free of free of peanut, tree nut, egg, soy, dairy, wheat, fish and shellfish. These plates for food should not be used for foods with a temp in excess of 180 degrees. Also not to put them in the dishwasher, though they can certainly be washed and dried by hand for reusing. They are fully recyclable, but NOT to put them in the dishwasher or on /in a hot stove or oven. I didn't put mine in the dishwasher but they did wash fine by hand. I dried with a soft towel and plan to reuse them many times. I was given these plates no charge in exchange for my fair and honest review. I give them a 5 star rating and feel I can recommend them to almost everyone.
When I got these plates from the Sparkreviewer program, I was very excited. They looked very elegant, and distinctive. I had never seen anything like them before and was so excited to use them. I used the 7" dinner size for a get together dinner on a special night for desserts and salads. I received numerous compliments on them and my guests seemed happy using them. So, all in all, these plates, the 7" size, are really great for small light things, i.e. salad, desserts, etc. As for cleanup, I just hand washed them with a liquid detergent, as that seemed the best thing to do as there was no washing instructions on the packaging to go by. They washed up nice, and I will be able to reuse them again. Other than that, they really are elegant to look at and so very pretty. I would gladly recommend to my family and friends.
These Chinet cut crystal plastic plates really do look like cut crystal. They're beautiful and make your table look classy even if you're just having a weekday meal with your family. One thing that I noticed when I used them is that they pick up the color of the tablecloth or table beneath them so if you need blue plates and you don't have any, use them on top of a blue tablecloth! The 7" package comes with 18 plates and they also have cut crystal cups to match. They are very strong and thick and I don't think you could put anything on one and have it bend or break. They are really perfect for desserts or salads. The middle is clear and smooth and the tilted up edge has a wavy pattern on it. These are perfect to use at special events with your female friends like wedding or baby showers, English tea's or other celebrations. Chinet plates are a breeze to clean up since you can just toss them when you are done or, if you like, you can wash them to reuse. Your choice since they are an inexpensive choice over using fine crystal. And, no worries about breaking them!
I really liked these plates. I was looking for something a little classier than regular paper or foam plates for our Christmas dinner this year. These fit the bill very well. I was originally looking for something a little heavier, but this was the best I found. They worked fine for the adults, no problem. I might be a little concerned about small children potentially breaking them and getting cut on the sharp plastic edges that would be created. But the size does work well for kid's size portion, dessert plates and snacks. These are definitely much more dressy and nicer than paper snow man plates and sturdy. I'm thinking of keeping these on hand for future gatherings. They're dishwasher safe I've put them in the dishwasher many times without issue. I haven't had any issues with any cracking. These snack size plates are very handy and nice looking. I'd use these for any occasion, anything from holiday to birthday parties or just on a regular day.
The Chinet Cut Crystal plastic plates are what you expect from the Chinet brand - good quality, sturdy and long-lasting. There are 18, 7 inch plates in one pack. They are very strong and good to take along on a picnic or party. I especially like the cut crystal look - very attractive plates. I used them at a small casual dinner party and everyone remarked at how nice and durable they were. These 7" plates are just right for salads, breads or desserts. I would recommend purchasing these plates because of their quality and finely designed look.
Chinet Cut Crystal Plastic Plates are simple yet elegant crystal-clear plates that are nice for holiday meals and get togethers when you don't want extra dishes to wash after your company has gone home. Because of their size (seven inches), they are wonderful for serving desserts or hors d'oeuvres to guests. They are sturdy. I placed them in the dishwasher and they came out just fine. I also used them in the microwave, but only had an issue with warping of the plate if it was microwaved for more than a few minutes. Otherwise, they withstood both the microwave and dishwasher. Matching cutlery and cups can be purchased to complete the set.
Normally, I use coated extra strength paper plates on a daily basis but for Christmas, I wanted something a little nicer looking. Decided I would try Chinet Cut Crystal Plastic Plates, 7" for my dessert plates. They are a very thin plastic disposable plate, so I wouldn't put anything heavy on them. You can dispose of them OR gently wash and dry to reuse another time. These plates are NOT microwavable.
These cut crystal plates are very nice, and adds a bit on decor to a meal, snack,or even a dessert. You can wash them and reuse them, although they are made very thin and can break but seem to hold food very well. They don't melt in the microwave for a short amount of time though. I don't have a dishwasher so I'm not sure if they do well in one, but since they're kinda thin and plastic like I wouldn't think they would but as far as hand washing them, they do well. These plates are good for anything. They're good to use for the holidays, birthdays, any event or gathering, and even just to have around the house for everyday use.
These Chinet Cut Crystal Plastic Plates, 7", 18 count looks pretty nice. I can definitely see it being used for appetizers and little dishes, or even cake or something like that at a wedding or such. Its strong enough to be held while walking around and dishing up your plate full of goodies, however its not as thick as I originally thought that it would be by the looks of it. They seem nicely made though and very clear and if you werent looking at them too closely they probably could pass for looking like a really really thin glass dish, but you would easily tell the difference up close or if you were touching or holding it. Fairly light weight too. You can see in the bottom one of my pictures how easily they are able to bend. Not necessarily a bad thing, but wanted to show you the thickness of the material. ~Thanx~
With the holidays around the corner, I got prepared ahead of time for spending time with friends. Of course, most of those times were around the table enjoying delicious meals. For dinner and supper, real plates and utensils were used, but for snacks and breakfast, disposable plates and utensils were easier (with clean up). Everything was wonderful wi my Chinet Cut Crystal Plastic Plates, 7", 18 Count. Plenty for everyone. They are beautiful and clear. Then I tried microwaving some leftovers as a snack for 30 sec and the plastic started to warp. I checked the wrapper for a “non microwaveable “ warning but didn't find one. Should have been obvious that plastic would melt when hot. After that, we realized it wasn't going to hold our hot breakfast, so snack plates they were. Still useful and beautiful.
