It was the perfect solution for us for a mounting back in framing a completed puzzle that had already been stabilized with clear, plastic backing. It was easily cut with scizzors and provided the sturdiness and depth to complete the back of the frame.
bigger than i expected but strudy quality! great for projects like vision boards but having a more solid foundation than traditional poster boards. the thickness helps for an easier presentation for school if you're using it for your project or even for crafting.
I cut this to down to fit the back of an art canvas I was painting to provide surface tension. The stretched canvas I'd bought needed further support to avoid more distortion and it worked! It will be easily removed once my project is done. Undamaged, the poster board will be used again. It arrived beautifully pristine. Happy camper here!
I used these foam boards to create a Charlie Brown Christmas nativity set. It is an excellent alternative to regular cardboard. In comparison, it isn't as durable as cardboard, but it's flexible, holds color well, and is easy to cut out. Most importantly, the cost is close to nothing! For coloring, I used Crayola washable markers. Cutting the foam was impossible, and an exacto knife wasn't quite durable enough. I suggest using a box cutter/retractable utility knife. All items used in this project can be found in the store at Walmart.
We took out the windows on the south side of our mobile home and filled with plywood and resided it. I wanted a thin insolater to keep the heat out. I still need to cut to fit and summer's inferno is not at full force yet, but I think for the price, this is a great option. And even if I choose to double the strength, the cost will still be less than any insulation product out there. I with cover with shelf liner for a design element.
These foam boards get 5 Stars for value. They are the least expensive you can buy, and very lightweight (great as an inexpensive way to test paint samples), but TWO BIG CAUTIONS: 1) They aren't strong or sturdy or durable. They dent easily, and if you paint them, you must paint both sides or they will CURL UP as the paint dries. 2) I DO NOT recommend ordering them for delivery. WalMart doesn't package them up at all. I had 5 loose foam boards dumped on my front porch, dented and dirty.
This white board product is fine, there is no problem with it. The reason why my rating is low is because of the way the Walmart workers packed and shipped it. The boards are soft boards that are a little fragile. The Walmart workers did not pack it properly. It should've been packed in a box protecting it's soft material, but instead, they packed in nothing!!! They were not even in a bag. When I opened my front door, they were all spread all over the floor and dirty. The worker probably just leaned them unpacked, against the wall, and the wind probably blew them all over the place around my front garden. So due to Walmart's poor packing standards, I question ever ordering anything again from them. :(
I ordered this pack of 5 foam core boards. Three boards were shipped in a box and were received without difficulty. The other 2 boards were delivered after I complained about not receiving them. However they were just left outside my front door and were damaged. I have tried repeatedly to get replacements sent, but customer service orders the replacements, assures they will be delivered and then days later cancels the orders. This has happened 3 times now. This entire order was a hassle, and I wish I had ordered from anyone other than WalMart.
Every single board was damaged!!!!!!!!😲😠 First of all, I ordered two 5 pks., so I thought it would come to me in two 5 pk. bundles!!!🤔 I have a DIY project that I'm working on and damaged boards will not look pretty!!☹️ I especially didn't spend almost $20 for damaged boards!!!!!!!
I did not notice until this morning, but this item was not in my pick-up order but I was charged. If I had noticed right away, I'd have gone back to the pick-up door and let them know, but I'm guessing its too late now. I guess I'm going to have to start checking my order in the parking lot.
