wanted to decorate my transplanted cactus. i was looking and found a marvelous bag of pea stone. clean and different colors. help my growing beaties.
Looks great for what I needed it for. I wish the size was a little bigger so I wouldn’t half to buy another bag. Glad I purchased the item there very nice pebbles.
rocks are a bit bigger then pictured and are bigger then gravel. However, they will work nicely for helping w drainage for my plants. Can't beat the price of these either
Right texture for my cactus replanting project!
I use them for succulents
makes flowers look so much better instead of just dirt
Be careful where you open the package containing this. It is very dusty inside and will get all over every thing it touches. Stones aren’t very colorful so after washing them to remove dust, I will only use for bottom of pot plant drainage.
The item title says it is for plants. It is made by a Chinese company called GasPro, which to me says it is a byproduct of the mining or petroleum industry. I was suspicious when I saw the label and then I smelled the product and it does in fact have a petroleum smell and leaves grease on my hands when I wet it. Has anyone who planted something in this had their plant survive? It would be great if it worked because it looks and behaves a lot like Pon. It appears to have some zeolite in the mix as well. I am scared to pot my plants in this. It was also difficult to see the mix because the bag it came in was cloudy and contained a significant amount of sand from the gravel breaking down. This detracts from it value by the pound. It is pretty, especially when wet, but I wouldn’t mix it with any living creatures. If anyone has a different experience who has grown in it, I hope they can comment here.
Item size not correct this is supposed to be 1/5 but it's 3/8. I use micrometers and calipers for work plus I recently ordered the 3/8 and was wanting smaller rock. Only got smaller amount for the same price. 10lbs for $15 this is 5 lbs for $15 see pic left is 3/8 and right is supposed to be 1/5. U decide
This is advertised as a 5lb bag. Upon arrival, it did not look like what I thought was 5lbs, so I weighed it. It was almost a Pound short, weighing 4.15 lb. The bag was never opened. Color was Very Dull! I'm not even sure washing it would have helped it be as colorful as advertised.
