I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I've never tried Mylar bags before but always wanted to with certain food items. I found that these are easy to use with the oxygen absorbers. I did use an old flat iron to seal as was suggested by others. The oxygen absorbers did get warm as it was supposed to and appears to be working good. The bags themselves are very thick and feel very durable. I won't know how long the items will last in the bags as I am using them for long term storage. So far so good.

They was not easy to us.

The Mylar bags were great - thick and sealed perfectly. The oxygen absorbers I'm not sure about. They changed from pink to grey/purple in 4 minutes. The package said it would last up to 2 hours: We didn't notice this problem with the first packs we opened so we will have to wait and see. After we noticed the problem we took 2 out that we needed and then resealed the bag right away. It did not help and the indicator turned grey/purple anyway. I'm hoping I didn't waste money on these oxygen absorbers and waste a bunch of food in the process. The indicators in the sealed bags that were unopened look as though they have holes poked in them because there are little purple dots. I guess we will have to wait and see.
