Resealable mylar bags are great for storing all types of food. I plan to use these to make my own MREs. The bags are designed to stand on their own when full, and they can hold boiling hot water. This is perfect for preparing instant mashed potatoes and instant rice/macaroni dishes, etc.

[RUSTY'S WIFE] They're just what I was hoping they'd be. I think they'll last a long time. I used my hair straightener to seal them which took less time to do than to wait for the tool to heat up.

One concern we have is the oxygen absorbers do not come in sealed plastic containers. They are only in a plastic bag wrapped and taped shut. We now don't know whether they are valid since they have been openly exposed to the ambient environment for some period of time therefore they could or couldn't have already done what they were supposed to do inside the mylar bags (remove/absorb O2).

Very handy bags I was able to secure my items in the Mylar bags with no problems. I plan on buying more .

The air absorbers were put in a flimsy bag and exposed to air so it was a worthless purchase. The bags were good quality.

I guess this might be OK, even though it's covered with bleach??? Also ,ordered2 bottles of bleach, but there was ONLY One BOTTLE of BLEACH ,BUT I WAS CHARGED with TWO......... This WHOLE ORDER is a BUST!!!!

the item is advertised and listed as including 400cc oxygen absorbers, but NONE are included! instead, there are small desicant packets, which are NOT the same thing! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I was supposed to receive 400cc oxygen absorbers with these bags. I did not get them! buyers beware!!
