I have osteoarthritis, which makes it difficult to grip small items. These work great for my use. My friends were doing hand crochet but I couldn't pull yarn through with my hands, so I used these. My work came out smoother than if I'd used my fingers. LOVE these!

Everything you need for chunky crochet!
It was easy to use, and the various sizes were fantastic. The set with all the additional pieces makes it easier to navigate the length of my stitches and piece together patterns.
