(6 pack) Great Value White Sanding Sugar for Dessert Decorations, 3.5 oz

Does anyone from Walmart happen to read reviews? Because this listing is wrong. This is SANDING sugar - NOT- SPARKLING sugar. Sanding sugar still will work, only for some items, I definitely need Sparkling. It's a coarser grain and "Sparkles" more. This is the second time this has happened to me. When I increased the size of the bottle, it definitely says SANDING. So I will have to go someplace else to order this. I still gave it 5* - since this is a good item, only listed incorrectly.

I make chocolate dipped treats and use sanding sugar a lot. the white is my go to as it works well with any color I'm working with. the flavor is perfect, it's not an overload of sweetness, even being paired with the chocolate. it gives things a nice little boost of sweetness, just the perfect amount. i have noticed over the years they've changed something with the white though. at one point there was more of a shiny glittery dusting in it but now it's just solid white sugar crystals. both formulations have been excellent though and i keep my supply well stocked of this brand for my business!

This finishing sugar has a nice shimmer to it. My wife has a plan to make mini cakes in small loaf pans, to frost them, sprinkle the cherry sprinkles sold under the Valentine section, and then finish it with this sugar and give them as gifts. It would probably make a fancy sundae or cookie finish, or if you wanted to add a little something to hot chocolate.

This is one of my favorite sprinkles to use for the kids while doing cookie decorating! I love the subtle color and like that it doesn't have any artificial colors in it. So easy to use and the price is great. It looks so cute on the cookies. I buy this every year.

This is a wonderful addition to the holiday baking toppings. We added it to almond bark-dipped candy and cookies and it made them look “snowy.” Perfect holiday treat.

This is the most perfect sanding sugar. If you are looking for large crystals this is not it. It's super fine and it does not melt/evaporate when placed on hot chocolate. I use this for my chocolate covered strawberries and treats. I dye it myself with a drop of two of food/candy coloring. I always buy in bulk!

It’s pretty, but there’s no crunch and no sparkle after baking. I wanted the big, coarse sugar crystals. I can use it, there’s no unpleasant taste or anything like that.

This is the old formula shown, but it is not what you will receive. You will receive a new, lackluster version with almost zero sparkle. The packaging is different and the product is different, but the ingredients appear to be the same. I suspect there's just significantly less mica in the new, terrible version.

Not the same anymore :-( I have used great value sanding sugar for well over a year and this is not the same. See pics. What I used to always buy had a sparkle to it. The new kind does not. Disappointing. Not even close to the same item I've ordered in the past

THEY CHANGED THE PRODUCT!!!! I've used Great Value white sanding sugar for YEARS --- it's highly recommended in the baking community for adding a beautiful shimmer on top of royal icing. But this new version is not NEARLY as shimmery! They changed the packaging and they changed the product. I'm so disappointed!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOO walmart. Bring back the original formula!
