I have 5 cats with varying degrees of finicky-ness when it comes to wet food. This is the first wet food that all have eaten and licked their bowls! They love cat bisque, so this seems to be about the same consistency but not as runny as bisque. Walmart had these on sale for less than I normally pay for Fancy Feast, so I bought as many as I could. I hope they keep making it and selling it at Walmart.
18 year old Emily sweetie kitty has trouble eating regular pate, but this she eats almost 100%. The Bisque and tube cat treats are good also, but they're treats. This is considered food. Just watch out, it's hard to get all of the right flavor from Walmart delivery. Chicken order might contain Tuna.
Our cat went crazy for this food. He haunts me for more. I've never seen a cat so crazy happy about receiving food. I wish there were larger containers and they cost a less money but other than that it's wonderful.
Cats just love this food ( pate not the chowder). Some cats finish 2 cups. The food is so moist and soft. I buy a case every week. Maybe the best food on the market!
Can not get a 12 or 24 pack! It has to be a combination with chowder wish they would offer it not in combination with chowder!! I would like to order just pate'
My senior cat was getting ever more picky about what he would eat...I hide his meds in Inaba Churu and found this "food" and thought I would give it a try......Winner! He LOVES it. A little hard to find but, thank you Walmart!
actually my cats love the Churu chowder. I add olive oil to the Churu pate and mix it up, quite a lot, since they don't care for the pate as much. The flavor is the same, chicken, but they seem to shy away from it. It can't be the texture since i mix it up quite a bit so it's not so jelled. But cats are funny. one day they really like something and the next they don't.
I would recommend and at first my cats loved it. But in giving it to them on subsequent days they don't want it. They were just liking the sauce and I would mix it in, that worked for a day but even giving days between; they don't seem to want it anymore. I will keep trying but sorry I bought so many.
Don't think Mia Peepers is too crazy about it ...sorry ...I think the texture is the problem...no pieces of meat. ..It seems she likes the smell of it ...but I don't think she likes the feel of it in her mouth....it reminds me of when you have leftover gravy %26 you put it in the fridge ...it gels, I think it needs meat and veggies? (Not what you wanted to hear...huh?) Kitties are picky....Maybe if I put chopped chicken in it, she'll like it better!
THIS IS ADVERTISED AS A MULTIPACK OF 24 CUPS OF FOOD. WHAT THEY SENT ME WAS INDIVIDUAL CUPS NOT A MULTIPACK. SINCE I ORDERED 6 MULTIPACKS I RECEIVED 72 LOOSE CUPS OF FOOD WHICH I HAD TO SEPARATE AND COUNT TO MAKE SURE I RECEIVED WHAT I PAID FOR. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD WITH WALMART.. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A MULTIPACK THEN DO NOT SELL MULTIPACK. RIDICULOUS.
