ARM & HAMMER Double Duty Cat Litter, Advanced Odor Control Clumping Cat Litter, Scented, 40 lb

love this litter, i tried switching to a lightweight formula and it left dusty paws all over my floor. this litter does not, and does a fair job at keeping down the odor! i wish the box had a spout of some kind, since 40 lbs is a lot to lift.. it would make it a lot easier to pour.

LOVE this litter, especially with multiple cats. We have 3 and you can't tell as long as keep the box scooped every other day. This doesn't spill out easily or track out as much either. Clumps very well for ease of cleaning. We top it off once every 5 days and do a complete change every 3 weeks or so.

I've been using arm and Hammer cat litter for years and you can't beat the quality and the price. I only have one cat now but I still love arm and Hammer and I love the arm and Hammer lavender it's a couple dollars more but it's worth it it smells so good. I couldn't get the lavender from the store on my delivery so I just got the regular arm and Hammer and that's just as good except it doesn't have the lavender in it. it's a great product.

I actually prefer this litter over almost all others. Mainly due to the reasonable price and the fact that it's such a great litter that i can use it with two adult male cats and can even mix it (half %26 half) w/ much cheaper, less effective kitty litters (like Special Kitty) %26 still have a solid product that greatly curbs smells %26 is still a good clumping litter. It also lasts a bit longer than you'd think it would, %26 by mixing it half %26 half %26 sprinkling it heavily with baking soda, you increase your savings and prolong the times in been cleanings and litter changes. And the cats seem to like it this way, too, because it gives them a decent smelling restroom for much longer and reduces chances of running out before you can afford to buy more! I live in a fairly small apartment so smells have a way of traveling throughout it quite easily, so maintaining litter-box cleanliness is very important to having an odor free home, and this litter as well as my own unique methods of using it make it possible to maintain an odor free and happy kitty home.

Arm Hammer Mom used ur laundry detergent bk in the day ..I've chosen to buy all products they make especially the smelling good stuff for the box .. Love my 40lbs box keep on hand two usually . Fabulous Product . My home u never know I had two cats people say . Feeling Blessed

I have used this litter for quite a while, but something has changed. it sticks to the bottom and sides of the litter box, it doesn't control odors at all, and the "clumps" are really nothing more than wet glue blobs that are difficult to remove. I scoop several times a day. this litter isn't worth the price, even if it was half price.

Five-star quality litter inside, no doubt. Major problem: The 40-lb size comes inside a hard, thick square cardboard box. Alien glued top, pop-thru pour spout all the way at the TOPE CENTER of this giant monstrosity, barely supported by a TINY plastic strap at the top center of the box -- so you can just throw any notions of leveraging this thing right out the window. If you are strong and nimble enough to grasp the 40-lb unforgiving monster box, AND lift it high enough for the litter inside to reach that top spout and pour out, the little flap you popped thru and stuck back into there, will get pushed forward %26 totally jam up the flow from inside. Now you're standing there precariously suspending 40 lbs of dead weight, corners cutting thru your hands (and probably knees), and still no litter. Go ahead and set it down to re-strategize your next attempt, as the upright rotation launches all the loose litter stuck behind said flap across your freshly swept floor. GOOD TIMES. !! So disappointed they changed their formula! The Original was the best litter! Fine like powder, smells great and masked and clumped to perfection! This new stuff is absolutely crap. Its darker, has bigger gravel like litter pieces and does not mask or clump!

I'm not sure what is going on with the Arm and Hammer cat litter, but the litter is darker in color than normal and it is not covering up any smell at all. i bought new cat litter today and had my fiance fill the Popur up, and when i walking in the house tonight after work, i could tell it was the darker cat litter again because it makes the cat box smell worse. both the Double Duty and the Multicat are having this issue. i personally call it recycled cat litter. ha.

This used to be a good cat litter. But recently I ordered 2 boxes. I emptied 1 box in the cat litter pan, and there is so much dust. And it doesn't clump at all. Just scatters the urine into little pieces all over . Hard to scoop out. And my cats hate it so much that one peed in a cardboard box instead of the litter box. Not sure what changed but won't be buying this kind again.
