I used to order my tea from an import company,, but ran out of my favorite unexpectedly. So. remembering that my sister always used this brand to make her iced tea, I bought a box for making hot tea by the mug or teapot. I'm not sure if I'll ever go back to my former favorite, a nice blend from India. I'm surprised that it's so inexpensive for such a pleasant tasting cup.
Has to be the very best southern tea, when you open the box you just hit with the most amazing smell. You can always tell a restaurant which brand of tea that the brew and community ight I but is definitely not Luzianne tea. I am not good with words but I do know what taste good and this tea taste a freaking good.
Not sure why I was asked to rate the scent. It smells like tea should. I drink a lot of iced tea and appreciate being able to buy a larger pack. The taste has a subtle variety of flavors that I have grown to really like.
It's worth the extra money as it makes great ice tea. It only takes 4 tea bags for a gallon. I let it steep overnight then discard the tea bags in the morning.
I can't stop making ice tea with lots of lemons. Oh I also added some grape and lemon Kool-Aid already mixed to the tea and it was delicious. These are the best tea bags to make iced tea.
My family loves this tea it is so good! Flavor is great. Strong enough to taste without being overbearing. I wish they had the pitcher size bags but we use three or four of this size to a pitcher and it works just as good. give this a try you will be stuck just like us
Stop buying Turkey Hill, Swiss, or other types of tea and make your own COLD BREW Tea. Use filtered water or spring water or your preferred water to save a TON of money. Cold brew in the refrigerator for a few hours or even overnight, and you won't regret it. It's much cheaper, it's better for you, and you have control over what goes into your Tea. Bye bye high fructose corn syrup %26 “friends” (chemicals)!!! Filtered water - check Tea Bags - check Sugar - check Chemicals? GONE
this is the best tea to brew for a gallon of tea!! i love the flavor and prefer a strong taste in my tea that is from tea leaves and not something added.
Louisiana is to me and my husband the only tea. Ivbrew it by the gallon, and I use my teapot to boil the water. When my tea pot whistles I pour about 3 cups of steaming water it in my pitcher if I use sugar I put the sugar in first and use a wisk to stir the sugar until dissolved. Then I I put 3 tea bags in to steep for about 10 minutes but I leave the teabags in the pitcher. I add cold water slowly so it doesn't foam. Then I lightly stir with wisk so I won't bust a tea bag. I have tried many different kinds of tea for iced tea and Luzianne is the best.
All the basic teas for making ice tea, taste just about the same to me. Some times ice tea can have a merky look to it and also some times a musky taste. I must say that I prefer Luzianne tea and Walmart brand tea's for ice tea over any other. In addition, I love that Luzianne tea does not waste paper wrapping their tea bags. I always remove the tea bags from the package and place in a jar. I think most people these days store their tea bags in a jar or canister. I do like the family size tea bags best because I make pitchers of tea, not cups.
