With a family of five and three always-hungry teenage boys, baking and meal prep are a regular part of my weekly routine. These Mainstays aluminum foil loaf pans have become a small but mighty helper in our kitchen. I use them not just for baking bread or banana loaves, but also for making mini meatloafs, freezing casseroles, or prepping meals ahead of time for busy weeks. What I love most is the convenience. These pans are sturdy enough to hold their shape when filled and moved around, and they don't buckle or feel flimsy like some other disposable options I've tried. They also distribute heat evenly, so things bake through nicely—especially quick breads and dense batters. Cleanup is virtually nonexistent, which is a huge plus when you're already juggling a full household. I'll often bake something and send it off with one of the kids to school or sports practice, or even gift it to a neighbor—no need to worry about getting the dish back. They're also just the right size for portioning meals. I'll sometimes double a recipe and freeze half in one of these pans for a no-fuss dinner later on. Overall, these pans are practical, affordable, and save me time and stress—three things I'll never turn down as a parent of teens. I always keep a pack or two in the pantry.
i actually bought these because they are much cheaper than buying them at other stores, and i am using them to put water in for when i am smoking meat on the grill!!! perfect for that because they are disposable and small enough not to take up too much room in the grill!
I love these pans for ease of baking bread when I'm giving them as gifts. They are so easy to put parchment paper in such that you can lift out the bread. Even without parchment paper, releasing the bread is a breeze by simply slightly pulling each side away from the bread, then turning the bread upside down to see the bread slide right into your hand. I then wrap in fresh loaf (either sliced or not) in parchment paper, then in plastic wrap large enough to pull up to the top and tie with string into a tight bow. Makes for a simple but lovely gift with a disposable container of real butter, and a jar of homemade preserves. You can even reuse these several times if you want as they clean up rather easily.
Strong but still easy to dispose of. I use these for the obvious, quick breads and cakes, but also for meatloaf, single serve enchiladas and lasagna for my husband and myself. Over the winter they are also very useful for candles when the power goes out. They catch the wax, protect surfaces, and reflect the light farther than the candles alone. Great price for such a versatile item.
I use these to make two nice sized loafs of Banana Nut bread. Spray a little Pam or cooking oil fill about 3/4s up side and pop it into your 350-degree F oven for 40 45 minutes and you get the bread with a nice top. Let cool and the loaf will slide right out. You could easily get 3 or 4 uses out of each pan if you're stingy.
Used for a banana bread recipe I have baked many times in maybe a little larger regular (not foil) loaf pan. I knew filling it that it was going to be too much, but I went ahead with it and it worked. I would not do that again. It took longer to bake and the top looked a little weird. I should have filled the pan to a regular depth and made an extra muffin or two with the rest. The pans are a tad flimsy, but work ok if you are going to make a gift bread and want to give away in the pan.
These are very thin. Def one time use. Of course they are cheap so didn't expect greatness. I needed a loaf pan for bread but wasn't yet ready to buy a regular loaf pan. I do not understand the reviews that claim these are sturdy high quality. I had these delivered and they were crushed in. I reshaped them the best I could. I put in a frozen Rhodes yeast dough loaf which are heavy and had to reshape the sides once more. I let the dough rise in the pan and then baked it in the oven. Taking the pan out of the oven kinda colasped in the middle. I usually reuse aluminum pans but washing this one was too much for it. The good news is I loved having fresh bread and plan to invest in a more stable loaf pan.
Only 2 pans came instead of 3.. they were loose not packaged as a 3 pack... God knows where they were or touched before we received them... Do the shoppers even care? I'm disabled wo transportation and cannot even return them for what Ipaid for I understand its just small change to others . It's the principle... if your employees can't do their job effectively and correctly....why do you retain them???? Most of my orders are wrong anf I stay silent... why should I anymore? pay for delivery monthly, tip and spend around a grand a month w Walmart . or more.. I spend hours a month attempting to reach the online orderong department or customer service .. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS... EVER ... OR FIXES THE PROBLEM ..ITS A CRAP SHOOT EVERYTIME I'M FORCED TO ORDER.... WALMART IS THE MOST ECONOMICAL... IM A STRICT BUDGET..... SUPERVISE YOUR LAZY EMPLOYEES....you dont have a problem attaching my bank acct... why is that? UPSET and Mad AGAIN in Ocala, Florida....
I received this item via store delivery. There were only 2 pans in this 3 pack. I initiated a refund and was instructed to return this item to the store. So now I have to make a special trip to the store to get my refund. I pay for Walmart Plus so I don't have to go to the store. I should get extra for the gas $ to go out there. Disappointed.
