It doesn’t exactly come with instructions so if you’re like me and new to the sport - a few YouTube videos and you’ll be just fine. Otherwise it did it’s job, didn’t break, and helped bring out even the treble hooks without damaging my catch. It does take some practice and finesse so hang in there and you’ll get a system down. This product works exactly as expected. It took me a YouTube video and few tries to learn how to use it, but it is better than the pliers I used to use. Seems to be easier on the fish.

It does help me get out hooks that are too deep into the fishes face or if they swallow it deeply there is nothing I do t like about it does exactly what it is supposed to do

this works as advertised. it's long enough to go deep into the fishes mouth. you need to hold the line lightly tight so the disgorger can find the hook. i recommend practicing a few times before actually doing it to the fish so you can get a better feel of the process.
