I bought this spray mop as a quick clean up in the kitchen. I use a wheelchair and it is very easy to use. Actually if I point the sprayer to the back, I find it even better as the spray does not spray out so far that I have to "wheel" into the already wet floor. I only use clear water or a water and isopropyl alcohol mixture to mop the floor. The alcohol helps to dry the floor quicker. I use this application to avoid "tracking" on the dry floor with soapy type cleaners. Ask me, I have tried them all!
But I find even using the water/alcohol application there remains a film of some sort. After the floor dries, I can see my wheel tracks or my husband's footprints. I did not wash the pad before using. Should I have washed it? Maybe there is a residual manufacturing chemical or something on the pad. I have the pad in the washer as I write! Will see if that works to get rid of the filmy residue. I am assuming there should not be any filmy residual on the floor using only water or water/alcohol to mop!
But in any event, I would purchase this mop again because of the sturdiness to be able to use from a chair and the ease of use. If I can just get the filmy residual issue resolved I would give this mop a 5 .
