Exactly what I was looking for. This is a strong and stable tripod for use with my Nikon SLR. Easy set up with leveling options and a height that accommodates me (6'2"). I would recommend this tripod to a friend.
confirmed. what you see is what you get and very sturdy.
very easy to use. not the sturdiest, but plenty
Lightweight good price
THIS TRIPOD IS EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED. IT IS A VERY HEAVY DUTY PRO TRIPOD, WITH ALL THE ADJUSTMENTS AND TWO BUBBLE LEVELS. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY....YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. COMES WITH A NICE HD NYLON CARRY BAG WITH SHOULDER STRAP. THIS IS A REAL, PROFESSIONAL TRIPOD.
It is too light weight and will not hold up anything that is heavy or has any weight to it all all. You CANNOT TIGHTEN the legs up more, you can not tighten up anything to keep it from dropping.
This tripod is nice and tall making videos at a better angle problem is the top part that holds your smartphone collapses and eventually won't hold up the phone at all. You cannot tighten the screws after a while thwrefore rendering the tripod useless.
had the cheapy ones before this tripod but the extra $10-15 is DEFINITELY worth it. has many levels so you can make sure you're horizonal. the legs are adjustable but so is the middle portion. the pad for the legs help it's stability. won't regret purchasing if you're looking for the cheapest option yet with as close to a professional feel.
Hello, my name is Don, and the following is my review and honest opinion on the "72 Inch Elite Series Professional, Full Size Camera Tripod". First, the tripod arrived damaged, parts of the disk that is the gimbal head base, right above the start of the legs, had fallen from both the box and the carry bag upon opening. The advertised microfiber cleaning cloth was not included in the package. The quick release plate doesn't seat flush, and my camcorder has actually fallen from the tripod at least four times by the time of this writing. (Thankfully with no damage to the camcorder.) The latch for the quick release plate was in the normal lock position, however after removing the plate for the very first time, the latch only returns as far as roughly halfway. On the reverse side of this coin, the first good thing I noticed was the price. I did searches all over the web for two days in an attempt to find a similar tripod at a lower cost, and I wasn't able to locate one. The second was the height. I stand 6'4", and its really nice that the tripod extends to a length where I'm not having to hunch over to look into the viewfinder. The bubble levels are really accurate, which makes obtaining the perfect shot even easier. The rubberized pivot feet are absolutely amazing, the non-slip properties are top-notch. The rotary locking ring for the legs provides excellent grip, which gives me peace of mind that the tripod won't fold up unexpectedly. Overall, the pros slightly outweigh the cons, in my opinion, which is the reason why I've given this item two out of five stars. There is still a lot of room for improvement, and I may try to modify this tripod to make up for the cons I listed above. While I am not a professional photographer or videographer, I feel that this tripod is undeserving of the labels "Professional" and "Elite", even if the latter happens to be the name of the series. I will continue to search for a better tripod.
This is the cheapest and most lightweight tripod ever. I would not recommend this at all because the durability would jeopardize your expensive camera equipment. This is not even worth the money that I spent on it. I wish that I would have returned it but I did not have time to reorder a new one because of the deadline that I was facing.
