I bought one similar from Amazon it did nothing. This one does as its suppose to. I got new computer has no cd drive. So I needed to install programs. I have on cd. It worked right away. 👍❤️

Little disappointed the pic shows 7 items i thought i was getting ALL THE ITEMS Came with drive and 1 factory y cable and an extra cable, others are just slots But hey it has for USB plug in on top so its a hub too!

I gave it two stars because it ever came with an instruction manual. just came in a box, then I had to figure out how to use it, how are you supposed to use it if they don't have instructions,

The one major thing that I disliked is that after multiple plays on a DVD, the unit muddies the disk (scratches?) and crates a gum-like substance on them. It does not play Blu-ray disks either. I have not yet tested the burn disk capabilities. the unit also does not have any device installer disk but luckily my Windows based laptop picked up the unit as a plug and play and I was able to use an HDMI cable (purchased separately) to have it broadcast to my TV. I have not tested this on a MacBook or other hardware other than a Lenovo windows-based laptop. Finally, I am still unsure about the added features nor the full extent of the battery life as I have not put through its paces and clocked the hours yet. Overall, it is a good addition for newer laptops that don't offer a built-in disk players.

I had to return this item because it did not work for me.

The product is junk. At first I thought it wouldn't work because my computer wasn't in the best of health, but I changed computers and it still doesn't work in my brand new computer. The directions are awful, and there is no company name anywhere on the product or a customer service line to call. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!! I waited too much time to get a refund, and this product is useless.

I plugged this item to make a DVD aand I could not get it to work. There is no web site or documentation on how I get it to record. It will play CD's I own but I wanted for writting and vackup.

I cant get it to work. I also bought am/fm head set. when i got it it was fm bluetooth. I took it bac to fergus falls walmart. I never got a refund. I order another one and that cam fm bluetooth. But i ordered am/fm .
