75785 HandHeld CB Radio

I purchased my first new CB radio (75-785) in the last 20 years and am glad I found a dependable, easy to use handheld radio. It has very simple and intuitive controls and has a strong clear signal and response. It will accompany on my trips as an additional means of communication and information. No more constant fiddling with static controls or replacement of batteries for me. The addition of facility for rechargeable batteries is a real plus. The only problem I found is that you list only the use of the old Ni-Cd batteries. I've inserted newer, and more dependable Ni-MH batteries and it seems to function very well with the more durable cells.

I use tenergy rechargable battieres in this for long lasting talk time and I been a dedicated midland man 26 years there ain't nothing better!!! :)

Using this walkie on a road trip to Texas so mom can keep in touch with me and my bestie. It's got decent range, and it's really simple to use. I've made notice that while the device is on, the actual display telling you which channel you're currently on turns itself off (I'm guessing to conserve battery life). The radio will still remain fully functional so long as you don't actually turn it off or drain the batteries - I'm just saying that you won't know which channel you're on until you press to talk. Thus far, I've gotten the range off of this walkie talkie to my full CB to around 3mi Great product for the price

Overall, good CB radio. The only problem is that if you want good output, you need to upgrade the antenna. Nice solid build takes 9 AA batteries.

I guess if you dont have two radios there's no point... I travel the roads in Michigan hoping to hear anything and nothing. I even say "breaker 19 radio check" and nothing. -Bryan

Range is not as far as it was advertised.

I can't give this a good review %26 I would not recommend someone purchasing it. It was a disappointment overall %26 unfortunately was not returned in time to get money refunded. “One should immediately try if bought.” I Would have had it returned it if I knew sooner… 2 ⭐️⭐️Star rating because it did get shipped to the home packaged in an ok timely fashion… Just “0 Stars” for the product itself. Maybe someone else would have better luck with one?? Joe
