I am a culinary student who needed a great plate to display my food. These plates are a very great choice. The price was definitely a great value, the quality of the plate is really good especially for the price. I highly recommend others to purchase. 10 out of 10, I definitely will purchase again!!! I bought this place setting because it was a Walmart brand and I knew they would carry it for a long time. I chipped one of the plates and I ordered 2 more to replace it. They said I would have it with in 24 hours and I had it delivered to my door within that time frame. Great customer service.

Over the last 2 years, I have bought numerous of these plates as Christmas Eve Dinner continues to grow year after year. They are PERFECT for exactly what we need. We have steak on them every year and use sharp steak knives and forks on them. They've totally held up. I even dropped one out of the dishwasher, and somehow it was totally fine. 10/10, the perfect hosting plate. Easy to decorate, and easy to accumulate a bunch... just make sure you order a week or two before Thanksgiving/Christmas, or you will be SOL... ask me how I know. LOL. Anyway, buy them. They're great.

I purchased these to take to my daughters house for Easter. The table looked great and they were just the right weight. The table looked great and she should be able to use these for many Easter's to come.

I was surprised these plates look as good as they do for the price I paid for them. I have already started decorating my tables red, white and blue for Memorial Day and these plates make everything look beautiful.

I like the dinner plate standard size of this glazed stone wear plate. I like the slightly heavy weight. I like the neutral, calm color. I have used them in the dishwasher. I like them for everyday use but I would use them for dinner parties too. Sturdy plates, great value, excellent quality. The finish is slightly shiny.

These are nice basic plates and very reasonably priced. The glaze is consistent and feels good to the touch. Color-wise... well, they're white, very plain. Some bright or pastel options would be appreciated, but the white goes with most decor. I got them to go with some patterned plates that aren't microwave safe. These plates are, which is great. They're a good size, seem sturdy but not TOO heavy (which is an issue for me now, with decreasing grip strength in my hands). I also bought some of the matching bowls.

This is the Mainstays glazed white stoneware dinner plate. It is 10.3 inches. It is dishwasher safe and is also safe in the microwave. So, when I first received the plate, I of course used it in the dishwasher to make sure it gets washed and to see if it sturdy enough to be in the dishwasher. It did not break! Whew! I used the plate quite a few times to test it out. I tried out the plate in the microwave oven. It gets extremely hot when you get it out of the microwave oven. So, use potholders get your plate out of the microwave oven. This plate makes your food pop. As in the color of your food, your food looks more appetizing. It does what it is supposed to do. It held my food from the kitchen to the dining room. I liked it. The plate looks very chic and can be used for everyday also. These plates have a very modern look. This set is supposed to be a 12-piece dinner set and I believe you can purchase just one. I would get these for myself as a starter set or as give as a gift.

This large dinner plate is dishwasher safe and microwave safe though it does get hot through heat transference. It is likely the same diameter as other dinner plates, but having no "well" in the center with a wide rim allows it to hold more. This is also handy for use as a cake plate. I like the plain white since it can blend in with other dinnerware.

These plates are listed as 10.3" but when measured they are actually 10.75." It's disappointing because that's about a half inch of difference from what's listed. I bought them specifically to fit into my dishwasher's bottom rack, which they don't. If size isn't an issue, I'm sure they would be fine, especially for the price!
