This is a great little soldering iron. It comes with everything you need to get started. I was surprised I could increase the temperature of the tip right on the cord. It was 300 degrees and I turned it up to 400 in no time. It works great. I am very impressed.
There are a selection of tips and the iron is slim enough to handle easily. The digital screen is a little confusing but there are instructions how to use. I need the tiny tip for use repair a broken wire in a remote control. The price is reasonable.
Love this soldering iron with the adjustable temp setting %26 different tips. Cord's too short, so I had to splice %26 increase. The stand is too small, so I made a different one.
Mine does work. Can't beat it for the price. I bought it for one particular speakers assembly project. Good to have for the future as well. Its already more than payed for itself Based on my experience I can definitely recommend it.
So far it works great. Low price so even if it does give up it is not something to write home about. Have used it quite a bit already so I think it will last.
Awesome great item worked well for what I needed it for highly recommend it got super hot really quick and melted the soldering wire like butter comes with everything you need to get started 🔥👍
I got this to solder a PCB for work and it doesn't get hot enough to melt the solder. it says 450 but the handle gets hot and not the tip. I checked the screw mechanism to secure the tips and it's just not getting hot enough. I appreciate it and Im not knocking the seller. I just think it's defective.
Not PID controlled as eluded to in listing which is obvious by the fact it will not under any circumstances stay hot. Unless your soldering the thinnest of wires it goes could almost immediately upon contact. I attended to replace a potentiometer in a guitar. Not only would it not stay hot enough to solder the wires to the lugs let alone getting it to solder the the ground the the case. I wouldn't recommend this item for anybody.
come not working. Also, in the instruction, it says "press and hold the and - buttons at the same time, then plug in the power". It is a big challenge if you know how far away the two buttons are.
Very bad quality, the plastic part is not holding the metal tip firmly, and it doesn't get hot enough to melt
