818 (Eight Eighteen) New Classic Trick Taking Card Game, by Great Time Games (Walmart Exclusive)

If you are looking for regular monomino playing cards that have five sub-suits, 818 is the card deck for you. The probabilities of this deck are 13 ranks of five sub-suits plus one joker (the Clincher) (They should have more than one unique joker in the deck.); there are no face cards [jacks (J), princesses (P), queens (Q), and kings (K)], and you may pretend the four highest numbers (It depends on how many ranks per sub-suit that you are using.) as face ranks according to the number of ranks that you are using per sub-suit. Each sub-suit color has a unique sub-suit symbol to prevent colorblindness. You can use the 818 deck to play multiple card games of the classics with three, four, or five sub-suits with the ratio modifications of the orthodox rules that an expert mathematician knows (I am an expert mathematician to come up with the ratio modifications of the rules to the classic card games.). The playing cards of the 818 deck have a casino finish (embossed linen finish) that I like, and every playing-card deck should have a casino finish (embossed linen finish). We LOVE this game. We bought it when we realized it has a little interesting spin on a card game we play often, the spin with the Clincher card is so fun, it takes it to the next level. We're even considering buying a second deck just for the clincher card to use two in one game. We taught our teens to play, but I wouldn't play with anyone younger than 12. Highly recommend this game!

This is a great little game that doesn't take very long to play, can be played by several people, and easy to teach. It reminds me somewhat of twist as it is a trick taking game and the Trump card is drawn. It does have one wonky rule that the number of tricks cannot equal the round number, which makes absolutely no sense to me and penalizes one player every time. However, we have house rule that out, and it plays great. If you need a new game to play in the summer, pick this one up. It is the best value for the price.

This game is fantastic! Many years ago we played a similar game with a deck of cards. When I saw it at Walmart, I knew I had to try it to see if it was similar, and it is! It's a bidding and trick-taking game with some homage to other similar bidding style games. The game plays very well with 4 players. My husband and I often play as a two player and it's much more cutthroat that way, but we do enjoy!

This game is very fun!! I will say in the beginning it was slightly confusing, but after awhile it started clicking. A very fun family game. Or a fun couples night game. I think good for ages 10 and over.

Our family has had so much fun with this game! It's easy to learn and play. Definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys card games!

this is a trick taking game and is not extremely different from other trick taking games but is fun to play with family and friends. the game is good quality for the price. worth adding to any game collection
