These are absolutely worth the cost! I have 5 daughters all with long hair, all with different hair types. We have course, thick hair, all the way to thin hair and curly hair… and of course everything in between (genetics are weird I guess) I got this package mainly for the rat tail combs - It comes with a metal tail and one with a plastic tail and both are great. Overall, Combs are decently made… not high end but not cheap I'd say somewhere in the middle, so not easy to break but not the super thick plastic either. The little hoop pull through things though are really small, and are more of a bonus than something to buy the pack for. They are tiny and thin, so I don't expect them to last long, and it's not like I will be able to use them much anyway cause as I said they are pretty small especially the littler ones, and they are probably the crappiest pieces out of this whole set, so if you're buying this set with the thought of using those a lot then buy a different set, if you're buying it for a variety of good quality combs for the price, then go ahead and get the set. Overall I think it's worth it, even with those cheaper pieces it's well worth what you pay. Also I wish more colors were available
