Got this combo at a great price, arrived quick and intact. Works great, no issues. The fact you can return an ordered product to a Wal-Mart near you if there is a problem is amazing. Not sure if many people realize that

Great deal, Okay rod.
I wish I would have bought 10 when they were on clearance. They are probably just OK at the 70 dollar price range, but exceptional at the 35 bucks I got mine at. Rod is a little less stiff than I like for a fast action MH, and the spool is plastic and causes some braid to slip - which can be remedied by using tape. Overall it's been a great beater combo. I had to spend a few casts figuring out the drag, but it's been okay after that. I had to turn the magnetic brakes fairly high because the brakes are a little weak, but that's okay. I think I've caught 50 bass on it so far. No major complaints

Dads birthday
I got this fishing rod for my dads birthday, a few months ago, and he still uses it til this day. It handles good, has good durability. I recommend It.

I dont know if mine came broken but only bad thing about the combo is that my reel's tension knob came off and the handle came loose but all is fixable

wouldve been a 5 but the first time it got shipped i got an empty box. Now that i have it i think its a pretty good combo, a little confusing to figure out the backlash tho.

Budget purchase and was very risky to buy
When this came in the mail the bait-caster came in with perfect condition and the rod is a nice but too hard and it feels like it is made out of carbon but the worst part was that it came with the top part of the top had been broken off out of the box which I am very mad about. I think that there should be a fragile label on the box during shipping next time.

Bad service
Ordered the item and it came in broken, called and said they would replace it and never did. I sent the broken item back and never got my refund. Poor service
