A/C was not working at all, it was pretty much blowing hot air. Added a can of A/C Super Seal followed by a can of A/C Pro Recharge. My A/C is working again blowing cool air. Make sure you turn can upside down when injecting. Should see the sealant flow down the tube (found out on youtube). If i could upload a pic of the gauge now reading filled i would. I tried just A/C recharge at first and it didnt work gauge would keep dropping back to like 20 (see pic). So thats when i bought super seal to add first. I was skeptical but this worked for my 2014 Chevy Silverado. Gauge reads filled now.
If used correctly, works perfect! My 2007 F-150 had a leak in the evaporater Which is located inside the truck and Would of had to disassemble the whole dash to get to it..
Product was easy install. it worked fairly quickly too. I had refrigerant leak and a rattly compressor in my car. I had compressor replaced expecting it to fix the leak as well. That was not so. After about 2 weeks, car needled refrigerant recharge. I added UV dye the second charge, and it depleted in about 1-2 weeks again. Also, I could not find a leak. Assumed it was a hole in the evaporator, but that would require entire dash removal to replace - lots of labor cost. I bought A/C Pro with a little skepticisim, but at only $28 it was worth a try. I installed it and charged the system. It lost a little charge after 2 days, so I charged a little more. I may not have charged it all the way at first. Now it has been holding full charge for several days. I feel optimistic now. If it works longterm, I will have saved a probably $800 in labor. That's makes it worth the try.
You must push really hard on the release button! I can't stress this enough! I had to change fingers several times before the can was empty. So remove the safety cap and push really hard on the release button.. I'm a big guy and worked with my hands all my life, I was surprised how hard that button was to push...
Read the description before purchase product is great but when searched for freon this product pops up n is far from freon
Had evaporator leak and this fixed it. First can I got didn't work so I took it back and got another one which did work. After it was added the leak stopped and now ac is working. Hopefully this will keep it going for a while.
As many other reviewers stated either the can was empty or the little that is in the can is impossible to get out.
Purchased this can thinking others may have had simply bad luck when using it. I'm sure it will work for me, was my thought. Welp I had the same issues with it as the other buyers with negative reviews did. Attached fine to low side port, hose was fine on both sides. The problem is the can does not dispense the product. I followed the instructions and even watched ac pro's video about the product and use prior to my use. The can does feel empty, however their was 3oz of fluid in the can as advertised. I also weighed it my self before use to keep track of the fluid ounce count for my ac system. Shaking, or turning the can upside down does absolutely nothing. The can is large only to stand out on the shelf against competition. Most car ac systems require just 2/3oz of sealent. Second problem is Walmart will not accept the return. Walmart manager claims the can only has a small mount of fluid "Left". Granted it's a large can for only 3oz of product in their brand new. Store manager was extremely rude and didnt want to hear what I had to say. In regards of this can being defective, AND for the simple fact it states on the can in the front (3oz). All he kept saying was 'I use that refrigerant all the time'. I left very mad as this is not even r134/refrigerant and he clearly had no idea what this product was. Now I'm out the cost of this product and the time. I will be taking this up further than local walmart
I got it empty
Defective so I couldn't tell if it would have worked. Followed directions pushed the button an nothing happened.
