I'm always skeptical about products like this but figured I would give it a try as it had good reviews. Walmart had the lowest price so I bought here. used in two different vehicles with two small but different coolant leaks. put all the pellets in the overflow tank when cold and within a week or two both leaks on both of the cars were sealed. so far several months in and still no leaks
I Mistakenly added ALL THE TABLETS into radiator! Boy, it worked fantastic!!! Sealed up that MOTHER like there's no tomorrow lol
Works great stopped leak
I was losing antifreeze in my truck and the dealership couldn't figure out where it was going. I was having to add antifreeze to my truck every 3 days. I dropped 3 of these in my truck and drove it a little while then back home. Since then I've driven it to work twice ( 1 hour drive each way) and I drove it out of state hunting and haven't had any issues.
Works great
Had a leaky freeze plug, the one right under the motor mount too. Brand new motor. Engine builder said to try these but to buy the AC Delco brand. I also used water only in the system, no antifreeze as I think water only helps these tablets do their thing. A few heat cycles and 3 tablets did the trick, no more leaky freeze plug. Mine was dripping pretty good too, no more. I doubt these will fix a "pouring" leak but if you have a dripping type leak you should give these a try first. Thought I was gonna have to pull motor to fix.. whew!
