I wanted a laptop with a 17" display, a nvme hard drive and a reasonable price tag. I don't use windows so I also wanted a laptop that would run Linux without a lot of searching for drivers and bios changes. This laptop loaded the Linux Mint Cinnamon 21 distribution without a complaint.

This laptop seems to be everything it is cracked up to be. It runs smoothly and handles multiple processes. It can be the tiniest bit slow at times, but I think a good tune up app would likely fix this. Acer is a great brand with impressive products and I'm glad to have one.

I have been using another brand of laptop for many many years, and wasn't sure what to expect from Acer. Turns out my fears were unfounded, as this has turned out to be a nice little laptop! Even my husband who works in IT and has pretty high standards was impressed! He helped me to set it up, and transfer files, download drivers, etc, and it all went incredibly smoothly! We added memory to upgrade it to 12g and it is now lightening fast! I doubt it would work for super heavy gaming, but it will definitely hold up for some light play. My absolute favorite part is the Full HD 1080 quality screen! The graphics are absolutely amazing! I watch a lot of show on my laptops, and this laptop far exceeds the HD quality of ones I have had in the past. It seriously rivals our TV for clear and colorful graphics! It is significantly lighter than my other laptops as well. I tend to carry them around the house, so this is great for me. I love the elevated design and narrow bezel that allows for a large screen! I worried 17 would be too big, but it's perfect! I also love the keyboard. There are small spaces in between each letter which makes it easier for someone with long nails to type without hitting the wrong keys. This isn't even really a complaint, just an observance, but sometimes the fan kicks on out of nowhere and is kinda loud... not a big deal though. It has all the ports I need, bluetooth, and the battery charges quickly and holds charge for a decent amount of time. I really couldn't ask for more. As someone who mainly uses my laptop for social media, watching shows, shopping, etc... but likes to have high speed and great graphics, it's absolutely perfect!

Let me start by saying this laptop is so nice! It is much better then any other laptop I have ever owned. I absolutely love how big the screen is. I have never owned a laptop with a screen that big. It makes watching movies, etc more enjoyable. I also love the faster speed and then my previous and has more memory. This laptop is perfect for gaming, working, schooling, etc and has such a clear, crisp picture. It looks so much better then any other laptop I have owned. It also has a audio jack and USB ports as well. It also has blue tooth as well. This laptop is simply amazing and I would definitely recommend purchasing it.

My Acer Aspire 3 is exquisite! I love the large 17 inch screen size which makes word processing and online browsing a breeze. The screen may be a nice size but it doesn't add bulky weight, which is a huge plus! The setup was super fast and simple with the Cortana assistant option. The most work I had to do was enter my account passwords. The speed is great with instant loading. I have always liked the Acer brand and absolutely love my new laptop!

My work from home job required a 17” minimum display, and this laptop matched all of the additional requirements, as well. I've experienced no issues with it thus far, and after adding a wired keyboard and mouse combo connected via a powered USB hub to it, I'm finding the laptop to be more comfortable for daily usage.

We are very pleased with the Acer Aspire! It comes with Windows 10 and Firefox. You have the option to add Windows 11 but we kept Windows 10. Cortana helps with the setup of course, it was a breeze to decline a bunch of the options that we did not want. This computer runs very quickly and we haven't run into any problems. Keep in mind this isn't for major gaming. It's good for social media, email, MS Word projects. Would be great for a student or a an older person who just needs email and photos and searching/browsing the internet . We are very happy with this computer and recommend it for anyone who just has basic computer work to do. Will function fine for a remote CSR with a VPN.

I have owned many different laptops in my life but none have been as great as this one. It is very fast and responsive- that's my favorite thing about it. The graphics are bright, crisp and clear. I really like the sound quality as well. It charges quickly and the battery lasts quite long. The laptop took minimal time to set up and was very easy to do so. I also really appreciate how lightweight it is.

This laptop is great for casual use: someone who works from home, students who are remote learning, and seniors surfing the internet. This laptop doesn't have a ton of memory and processing speed, so it may not be the best choice for people who are playing games and streaming lots of movies. The monitor is crystal clear and large. The setup was easy. My daughter is using it for her online classes this summer. It's lightweight and overall seems well made.

Nice computer but screen started blacking out after a few weeks rendering it useless. A reboot would solve this problem for about 20 minutes. Attempted a windows restore through Acer Care and now I cant even get on Windows. Too late to return to Walmart. I would not recommend this computer
