Great Starter Gaming Rig

Paul July 31, 2022

I snagged this PC on sale for $700, and at that price it's a fantastic value. It's kind of an odd build - it only has 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, so it needs some upgrades right away if you're going to actually use it for gaming. However, it also comes with a GeForce RTX 3060 that would cost close to half the price of this entire system to buy on its own. As long as you're comfortable with upgrading the RAM and SSD right away, you can have a pretty solid gaming PC for under $1000.

Overall. You can't beat the price for a brand PC with this CPU and GPU. You can add another 8gb Ram and that should be enough for most case. 256GB SSD is barely enough if you are planning to install games and apps. So, you may need an external HD. It will be nice if the case can have at least one more case fan for sucking cool air in. Also. The 400w power might need to be upgraded later. Other than this. I am super happy with my purchase.

Great performance

Walter September 19, 2022

The PC works perfectly. The only problem I have with it is that I went to upgrade the RAM and the first ram slot is completely dead, like if I was to put a stick of ram in there from a brand new kit it will just beep. If I keep just 8gb of ram in the 2nd slot it works perfect but once I try and have 16gb of ram it won't work

Waste of money.

rebecca November 2, 2022

I purchased 1 and ended up on the phone for an hour with HP tech support and was told it was defective. I had just opened it and tried to get it set up. So I sent it back and was shipped a replacement and had the exact same issue with it. I took it to a Wal-Mart for a refund and purchased a different computer and it works just fine.

Arrived broken

Roy July 17, 2022

Arrived broken. First time I powered it on and there was a loud rattling/crackling sound. I believe the fan is broken, probably due to a combination of cheap parts and poor transportation.
