This was a great deal... solid computer for the price. Works perfect, no problems. Don't expect to game on it, but aside from that, it works for most other things you want a basic laptop to do. I upgraded to 20GB memory with 16GB RAM. Though small SSD, it has space for 2.5" additional drive as well.

Acer is good and a great machine. The Laptop is solid and does very well in spreadsheets and other tasks. I recommend this Laptop for light users. I am 80 years old and it does well for me.

At first I didn't like the laptop. There isn't a number pad on the right side, it was smaller than I thought and I had a hard time with the smaller screen. I gave myself time to get used to this new laptop. Now I love it. It's light and easy to carry too.

This review is not part of a promotion. Great laptop , display is clear and sharp. Size of display is large enough for easy use and small enough for portability. Its keyboard is compact compared to larger laptops but very nice to use. Cannot speak about battery use since mine stays plugged in.

I bought this item for my niece, a junior in high school, so that she could finish high school assignments and easily apply to colleges. She has only had it for a couple of weeks. However, I can tell you that upon setup, the computer was fast. We bought it because it had just enough memory, along with an i5 processor. It had enough room and working memory to download MS Office and still work very quickly. The exterior is stylish and almost Mac-bookish. However, when trying to plug in a printer into the USB port, you can tell that the exterior is not made of any metal; it is made of some type of plastic material. It just happens to look very nice. I am not sure how long it will hold up at this price point, but we intended this to last about two years--until she goes away to college.

A really great laptop, works very well in everything I need, business and entertainment (videogames) But the life battery is less than 5 hours, in the description says 10 hours. It's so bad because I need all that time, sometimes I can't recharge the battery for hours and die very fast.

We bought 2 Acer A514-54-501Z Laptop computers, the first was purchased on February 1 and the second on February 18, 2022. Both computers have constant blue screens due to possible hardware failure, for the moment they have not been sent to warranty due to traveling outside of the United States. From what I've reviewed, it appears to be a consistent problem on this specific Acer model. We hope at some point the brand will be pronounced.

Please do not get this laptop, I purchased this in December and started having problems with the laptop in February and by that time I was unable to send it back. I constantly have issues with a blue screen error and for the most part it does load back up but at one point it did not and we had to send it to the acer corporation. Please use a different website to get a laptop!

Purchased this laptop on 8/10/21 for $489. Started out great. Then it began crashing. Contacted Acer support THREE times in the 30 days I could have returned it and it began working great again. Now on 9/19/2021 it starts crashing again and in the process made my $4000 CNC it was connected to crash as well. Now that I'm out of the return window I'm left with no choice but to send it in hoping they can fix it but will be left with a device I'm uneasy connecting back to my CNC. 100% would not buy an Acer laptop again and absolutely will never buy a laptop from Walmart again.

DO NOT BUY! I Purchased two and I had to Return Two Acer Aspire 5, 14.0" Full HD IPS Display. Both purchase for my daughters and both had the same issue within a week of using. The Following problems occurred: Constant screen flickering, BlueScreening, fails to connect to wifi, crashes (bluescreen again) then failure message indicating it Failed to Repair itself. Acer product are terrible and I'm leaving a warning review. 10 years ago I had an ACER computer and had many issues, I wasted my time buying this product because it seemed like a great deal but, No.. No.. Acer Aspire 5, 14.0" Full HD IPS Display, 11th Gen Intel .... IS CHEAP JUST LIKE IT'S PRICE!!! Skip it and Don't Buy it!
