Oh how I love this Acer Chromebook! I decided to get a Chromebook after I lost my laptop when I left my job earlier this year. I wanted to do some work from home and didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I also didn't want to buy the least expensive model. I decided to go mid-range and I'm so glad I did! I honestly didn't realize how much you could do with a Chromebook. I love how lightweight this is. I can carry it in my bag and it doesn't weigh any more than a book. But it's also very well-made and sturdy. I charged it up the night I got it and I used it over the next four days without having to recharge it. When the battery gets down to about 50% the charging light turns red to let you know it's getting low. At that point I went another two days before recharging it. I also really, really love that it's a touchscreen. And I love that the screen folds all the way back. When I use it in bed at night I can lean back and put it in my lap and adjust the screen to the exact position that I need it at. I can type on the keyboard and use the touchscreen, which I've never been able to do with a laptop before. It's really convenient. If I fold it all the way back, an on-screen keyboard pops up so it can be used as a tablet. Another nice feature which my teenage daughter loves is that I can login by unlocking my cellphone. If for some reason I forget my password, I can still access my Chromebook as long as I have my phone. Or if I need to let my daughter into my Chromebook and I'm not around, I can unlock my phone and let her in without actually giving her my password. Super convenient. I can download and access my phone apps and messages on my Chromebook. In fact, when I was setting it up (which was super fast) it asked me if I wanted the same apps that are on my phone. I love that it has documents and spreadsheets. A helpful tip for anyone using documents -- Placing the cursor at the beginning of a document and Shift+Mouseclick at the end of a document lets you highlight the whole document. Ctrl C allows you to copy text and Ctrl V will paste it. Once I knew that, it was all good. I highly recommend the Acer Chromebook for both affordability and quality.

I've never owned OR used a Chromebook or a tablet. I really like the versatility! I can use the keyboard or touchscreen. It's smaller and MUCH lighter than my laptop, so convenient! It took a while to get used to holding it in the tablet mode because I kept pressing on the keyboard or the track pad when it was folded back. The battery claims are no joke! To test it, I set it up to run 2 videos at the same time all day. It consistently lasted MORE than 12+ hours each day (charged at night.) The storage space is a little low? but I use a 128GB SDcard in a flash drive adapter, so I have more than enough space. One picture shows the Chromebook sitting on my regular sized laptop. (for size comparison) The other picture shows Chromebook with a microSD card flash drive.

What a great little notebook! Love the powder chrome finish and lightness of this. I use it mostly for uploading my photography images then editing. The resolution is great and it simply connects to my internet. You can: create documents with Google docs, make spreadsheets with Google sheets and create presentations which is great if you're on the business or you're a student. It also has Google chat you can listen to music, play YouTube videos and watch movies. It has 32 GB and a 11.6 inch screen with four gigabytes of RAM memory. The battery life is about 15 hours. In all, it's a great little notebook and I would definitely recommend it. I did receive this item free for an honest review.

I love the size and the fact that I can flip it around and use it as a touch screen tablet. The keyboard has a nice feel to it and so far the Processor is very fast. But there are some Cons to Chromebook... 1. It only has one USB slot... So you can't use a mouse and flashdrive at the same time. 2. The touch screen is not the best... I touch some things multiple times before it would respond... So I started to use a mouse and that makes things a lot easier and faster. But all in all I like this Chromebook and it is very easy to carry around. Just wish it had at least two USB slots.

This is a high quality, reliable, long battery life Chromebook. The touchscreen is great and responsive; the display is very clear resolution with adjustable brightness. The battery life is long, and the weight is extremely light with a very thin profile (see pictures). Keyboard has a light touch and a touchpad so you don't need a mouse especially with the touchscreen as well. It has a USB port (see pictures) for accessories. Setup is easy and quick. Highly recommend this product if you're looking for a browser/app based device that is highly portable, but with a very readable screen (vs a tiny screen of a phone), and long battery life.

This is my first lightweight versatile computer and I love it. I am used to bulkier laptops such as the toshiba brand. This laptop is nice because of the different ways it can take shape. It can be used at a more professional work setting or a more comfortable setting. You can fold it into a tablet shape while lying on the couch binge watching Netflix. It is much more convenient then having a big bulky laptop sitting in your hands or lap. You can set up different accounts on the device. My husband and I both have our own logins. This way we can have the desktop organized the way we want and not have anything that is unnecessary to us. I was concerned about not having Microsoft office because I have always had laptops with it, but that surprisingly has not been an issue because you can download Microsoft apps to view, edit and create documents. The battery life has lasted a long time too. We do not have to plug it in for several days. We do only use it for a couple hours a day though.

This is my first time owning a laptop of any kind. I have always used a traditional desktop or my phone for anything "computerish". I am still learning, but this Acer Chromebook Spin makes it so easy. I have used Chrome as my search engine for years. All I had to do for setup with the Chromebook was to enter my Google credentials and it did the rest. All of my favorites were ready for display. A couple of features I really like are the touch screen and the spin. I find it very helpful for recipe searches and baking, especially for the holidays. Instead of running back and forth to my desktop to see ingredient amounts and instructions, I key in my recipe search, select, and spin. The Chromebook stands on end and I scroll through the recipe in real time with my fingertip on the screen. See attached pictures.

To start off I used to own a dell 2&1 laptop 3000 series and it was nothing but problems till I switched to the new chromebook 311 and it was the best decision I've ever made in my life first off the security is top notch with everything with this laptop it warns you and tells you everything a site is trying to use when you visit there site etc second the privacy you get with this laptop is just phenomenal in every way shape and form and peace of mind knowing you have a easy layout to put together the setting that fit your needs in the palm of your hands and everything is so user friendly and quick to learn on this laptop with everything the camera is amazing with Duo video call our just shooting a video of you and your family the pictures come out great and the picture of the screen is amazing watching Netflix on it the speakers are loud with pandora it just the right amount to hear it in your hole house our apartment and the way you can switch it from a laptop to a tablet and folded half way into a tablet is amazing everything about this ACER Chromebook is phenomenal and if your looking for a laptop that does everything and your worried about PRIVACY and USER FRIENDLY this is the LAPTOP for you it's the perfect laptop for it all and it's so FAST blazing with 5G on my router fastest laptop I have ever owned know questions asked it out performs the dell 2&1 3000 series hands down and with this laptop you close it shut you come back a hour later flip it open it turns on in a flash 3 seconds that how fast it boots up it's all around incredible and it's a must have for everyone I love everything about it and I'm learning more as I go this is the laptop that everyone needs for a everyday driver best of the best hands down 10/10 you will see what I'm talking about when you get it and see how amazing it is trust me when I tell you right now must have!!!!!

I love the fact that this chrome book is so easy to use, light weight, can also be used as a tablet. Never did I think this brand would be as great as the really high quality chrome books. Thank you for giving me a chance to try this this! I would definitely buy one for my daughter for Christmas!

Let me start by saying I had no idea what a Chromebook was until this sweet little treat showed up. I also had no idea there was a serious lack of buttons that are normally on other computers, nor did I realize the operating system wasn't really something I could use for downloading programs. So there's that. I used this to make Christmas presents for my family - I had an idea to use this Acer Chromebook as a tablet where I would trace my grandmother's signature (who we lost during Covid after we had 'socially distanced' from her for six months - quite a bummer for everyone) for some custom ornaments. I found out quickly that this isn't a Windows operating system - I had to download a Linux app in order to install Inkscape (which I used for the actual tracing). which might be a challenge for some folks. The touchscreen was quite responsive, which I appreciated with such a delicate project. Cons: No SD card slot / micro SD card slot No easy way to download actual programs (it's not Windows and it's not Apple, but Linux can sortakinda be used if you are willing to dig deep into the Google rabbit hole) No caps lock / delete button / a few other's that I'm forgetting. Only one USB port, so be prepared to have a Bluetooth mouse or throw everything into a cloud to get it off the laptop. Tinny sounding speakers - I only used them once, and I totally understand based on the size of the laptop, but be prepared to use earbuds! Pros: Very lightweight Responsive touchscreen Easy to get to the shortcut menu for missing keys that I've grown accustom to having on a computer USB-C charger (not as apt to "waller out" as the guy at a big box computer store told me in college when my old laptop stopped charging unless I had a stack of socks under the cord) Great price point for my needs Easy to convert from laptop to tablet functions Pair easily with Bluetooth earbuds and mouse All in all, I love this laptop more now than I did when I first got it. Also, it made everyone in my family happy when they got the ornaments of my grandmother's John Hancock, which was nice. I also love how portable it is, as well as how handy it is to flip the screen over and BOOM : now you have a tablet. I'd recommend this to anyone as long as they have some knowledge of Linux coding if they want to download an actual program onto it.
