Great value from a top player in temp gauges. Great visibility from up to 50'. Lightweight. Can be wind blown in strong winds so mount TIGHT. Always best to mount in 100% shade. Sun heats up plastic lens and housing which inaccurately boosts temp up by 10° or more. If mounting inside a patio enclosure, keep away from sunny area.

I have been looking for an outdoor thermometer with large enough numbers that I could read them from a distance from inside my house. I normally try to avoid ordering anything that is shipping from any foreign country. When I saw this on Walmart's website and it said it was shipping from CA, I mistakenly thought that meant California when in fact, it meant China. After several weeks of not receiving the order which appeared to be stuck somewhere in China for the tracking information. I contacted Walmart and they refunded my money. I was not able to find this thermometer in my Walmart store. It is slightly larger than I was looking for, but I decided it would serve my purpose.

The thermometer is very easy to use for temperature and humidity readings since the face of the thermometer is easy to read. It is also easy to hang up. It was just what we needed and expected from the order site. It is a good product for utility and price.

I've had several like this one. VERY lightweight so with any slight breeze, they will fall off the fence and break. Only has one tiny hook to mount so I drill four screws around it to keep it attached. The delivery guy dropped it as he was taking it out of his car so we shall see if that hurt it. I need the bigger numbers and there wasn't much of a choice under 20 bucks so we shall see how long this one lasts.

i purchased this item for the price and i got what i payed for. The housing is so thin that it is effected by the wall it is hung on. I am going to try insulating it. only way it could be used is by hanging from something so it touches nothing, then how would you face forward? oh well

Temperature is not accurate nor is the humidity indicator. Temperature shown is the "heat index", not the actual temperature. The humidity indicator is off by 15%. Phone apps and the weather channel show 46% and the contraption reads 30. Would return it, but threw away the packing when I hung it outside. Been up for a week. Not at all accurate.

This item was a total piece of trash. The hands were mashed down to the face and was not giving any readings. The plastic cover was missing off the front. The humidity coil on the back was hanging out. I got a full refund. But Walmart should pull this product and never carry it again. So disappointed 😞☹️

The thermometer constantly reads the same temp regardless to where it is placed. I am worried I won't be able to return the product since I have already thrown away the original packaging. Good price but I think mine is a defective thermometer.

This is Exactly what I was looking for. An old outside non digital farmer thermometer with large numbers to see from inside the house. Unfortunately, it is completely broken. Plastic face was completely loose from it and the springs and etc in the back that allows it to work was missing. I don't blame the maker, I blame Walmart! Poor service.

the temperature doesn't operate right it's on my back porch in the shade under a roof on the back porch and it be reading 100° and it's not even 82 outside there. cheap ones only last 2 years or so and then you buy one that cost a lot more and it don't last no time
