I use this in my brooder box for my newly hatched baby chicks. It works great, and I haven’t had any issues with it at all. I’ve had it for quite a while, and haven’t had to replace the batteries either. It sits in the corner behind the feeder so it does get climbed on, and dirty on occasion. But it takes whatever I throw at it, and keeps on working

I purchased this to keep an eye on the humidity when I’m running the wood stove. We have a new born and don’t want the air to get to dry for her. This helps me know exactly where I’m at and if I need to run the humidifier or not. Simple and affordable solution.

I have three of these in areas of my basement to monitor the humidity so that I can initiate control measures when needed. They help me to maintain a standard level of comfort and to also protect furnishings and electronics. There is one on my main floor among the house plants so I know when to turn on a humidifier unit when needed. Easy to read. No problems at all with this product. I recommend it.

I bought a 2nd unit for home. My original unit is still going strong at work after 15 years. The AA battery lasts several years between replacements. I compared both units against a certified thermometer and at 75F they are both dead on accurate. Accurate, easy to read, 24 hour memory of temp and humidity = perfect. The only downside is the unit does not come with a battery, but I would rather have my BunnyDuracell name brand battery than the cheap import battery that would soon need replacing.

I gave this thing a solid five stars because it finally stopped my house from feeling like a sauna and a freezer at the same time. I checked the humidity reading against a professional hygrometer I borrowed from a lab (yes, I have friends who do that) and it was off by less than 1 percent. Like most consumers, my main concern with this purchase was, does it work? Yes, it works. I compared the temperature with both my home thermostat and another thermometer within the house and the readings were within 1- 2° of each other. Since the temperatures are aligned, I assume the humidity reading is also within the same 1-2° parameter. I didn't realize all the extra features of this hygrometer, so I attached a photo of the manual showing how the interface works and I how it displays records. It tells you whether the humidity is trending up or down and also gives you humidity/temp highs and lows for the last 24 hours. I need to keep the humidity in my home within a certain range, and this device is meeting that need.

This is a very useful tool to monitor the humidity level in my home. I was pleasantly surprised to see it had a magnet. I didn't expect it. I do wish it had a backlight. It responds fairly quickly to temp and humidity changes like when I use a steamer in the room.

As you can see , I have it right next to my dehumidifier, due to I have bad mold issues in my apartment. I know when to cut on my dehumidifier.When my moisture level is above fifty , which is quite often. The temperature of the home matches exactly to my digital clock.That has a temperature gauge on it. The only con about this gadget is the numbers is not bright enough for me to see, i wish there was the ability to have a light or to make the reading a little bit more brighter to see. I Have to get very close up to it in order to see what the moisture level is. but otherwise, it is a great Moisture digital reading. It shows proof that I can bring to my management company to let them know how bad the moisture is in my apartment. I live in washington state, which it does rain quite a bit at times and that is when my moisture level goes up from sixty to eighty and it tells me when I need to cut on my dehumidifier.

Purchased this on October 15th for indoor use to keep an eye on humidity for my plants. About a week later it was stuck on 14 degrees F and 16% humidity and no matter where I put it, it read the same. Took battery out for 5 minutes then put in a new battery, still same issue. Tried battery removal several times, would still revert back to 14 degrees F. Worthless.

Purchased this on the 18th and by the 23rd half of the digits on the screen were unreadable. The price is good but what's the point if it doesn't work. I went back and spent $9 more and got a better one that's Bluetooth with alerts. Don't waste your money!!!!!
