AcuRite Battery-Powered Indoor/Outdoor Digital Thermometer with Clock, White, 3.5" H x 2.3" W x 1.2" D

Liked the first one so well I bought a 2nd one for bedroom. The outside transmitter actually transmitted info to BOTH receivers inside so stashed second transmitter in case outside ever fails. Note to Manufacturer: Bigger Receiver would be better- a little hard to read beyond 4 ft. and not at all in dark.

tells indoor and outdoor temperatures. My old one made also by Accurite which stopped working had a much bigger display and also displayed the indoor humidity. The screen for the indoor unit is very small and difficult to read. Not easy to read and or use.

For the most part, this works very well. The only thing that I really don't care for is trying to find a place out of the weather for the sensor outside to read for the inside display. It's very touchy. It can't have direct sunlight. It can't have any exposure to direct rain. It's a little delicate to be an outside sensor.

Fine for the money. Face does not illuminate and it needs batteries rather than rechargeable but it does the job very well. Could use a hanger for the exterior unit but I add a small rope and attach to my door handle. May add a magnet if it won't interfere with it. Take it camping with me and it is reliable and I like being able to see temp differential throughout the night.

Easy to read and operate. I've bought four threw the years and moves. Three were for my grown children. I keep mine in my crawl space under the house. It gives me peace of mind to be able to monitor the temperature when we drop into the single digets. Be sure and use the recommended lithium battery in the unit going outside. It endures cold temperatures and lasts forever. I highly recommend this gadget!

I've been using this brand and model for many years and it keeps perfet temperature tracking outdoors. It is always the same as local weather forecasts, lasts a long time, and shows time as well. It shows the outdoor temp or wherever you hang the temp sensor part. It is never wrong. I'm sure this has saved my pipes a few times. I always buy the same brand and style. I'm setting up a second placing the temp sensor under my raised house where exposed pipes are. You don't have to go outside to read outdoor temp. Easy to set and use. I highly recommend this item and brand.

The only reason I wouldn't recommend this item.Is there's no way to reset it?So when it goes it's gone. i ended up returning this cause itwas the second one I bought for this very reason. but I still bought a different model accurate that I have purchased before that is resetable

It works great however the display (overall size) is too small. We have to be real close to read the display. The one we had before was bigger and we could see it on the wall from our seats. This one we have to get up and go right up to it to see the read out.

Outside thermometer not working. I turned the lithium batteries. Tried again. Seem to work. Put it back out. It's night time I can feel the cold seeping through the window. It's reading 64°. It's 74 inside. I need to try to put it in my window on the outer sill. Currently it's hanging under my front porch. I'm trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong. Or its just not functioning properly.

The thermometer worked for about 5 days, then could get no readings on the display. I started with all fresh batteries so that wasn't the issue. I'm planning to return it this week. Found the display hard to read because the numbers are quite small but for the few days it worked both the inside %26 outside temperature seemed to be accurate
