Works perfectly
Competitive pricing, fast service. The unit is top quality with easy to read display. Tested indoor and outdoor Temps with a professional thermometer. Readings from it to my Accurite were exactly the same. Very happy and satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommended.

What to wear today.
We accidentally broke our original AcuRite . My wife and I felt the absence of information it provided and decided to replace it quickly. The new one is very easy to read. Thank you AcuRite!

Good to very good; the drawback was reading it
Once I found a safe place to put the outdoor thermometer which I was unable to hang anywhere on my house, I noticed that the indoor receiver was difficult to read from a distance and had to read from within a few feet.Good to

Outdoor failed the test
I had an Acurite indoor/outdoor thermometer for many years and the outside started to fail. so I ordered this new one as the first worked for so long. The outdoor in the new one did not work at all. It displayed 65 degrees F, about the same as the indoor. I fooled with the batteries. At one time I did get a low reading but then it went back to 65, so I returned it.

Inaccurate readings
I returned the item and am awaiting refund. The outside temperature read 6 degrees (F) higher than actual ambient temperature. Side by side the indoor and outdoor readings were 3 degrees different. Perhaps it was just a this particular unit, but I wouldn't recommend it.

LCD disfunctional
LCD will not read at vertical angle. Temp disappears. Have to have it laying down flat, which is useless. Then it fades out as you lift it up. A useless piece of junk. My last one (same model) did the same thing after a couple years. Changed batteries and fiddled with it. Nothing. Replaced with this one which is crap out right out of the box. Can anyone make anything that just works anymore?
