this product specifically has been recommended to me by 2 different professional pesticide agents as being the product they themselves use. it seems to have become so effective after a recent application that the whole nest moved and we had to chase them with more gel!
I always used Maxforce as an exterminator for years but this one is a little more affordable and does the same thing. Read the instructions people. NEVER spray ants. Apply the gel and they will go to it like kids to candy. I buy a couple of tubes every spring. Remember, ants carry more disease than roaches so get rid of them with Advion.
I had terro ant bait down but kept having ants come in at the same place for months. They were taking the bait but that is apparently a sugar bait. I read that sometimes you need a protein based bait which this Advion Ant Gel bait is. I put a few drops on the floor in the bathroom where they were coming in and left them alone for about a week and they are finally gone! Worked like a charm!
Worked great on fire ants that had found their way inside. Immediately attracted them and by the next day there were only a couple lost ones wandering, and then none. Previously they'd ignored a bait station from another brand that also uses indoxacarb, and even the Advion stations I've used in the past would often take a little time before the ants would find their way in. I'd hoped the gel would be easier for them to access and indeed - as soon as I applied it, the ants were on it. Dinged one star on ease of use because I wasn't sure if the gel remaining in the nozzle might harden and be a problem next time; all else was great. I put the removed nozzle down in ant reach so they'd make use of the accessible bait. Can't speak to efficacy on other types of ants (which are easily dispatched with Terro anyway), but Advion and the gel form factor is perfect for those terribly unlucky times fire ants opt to find their way inside.
This is the only sugar ant stuff you need, if you have a whole bunch of them it'll take it right back to the nest and kill the whole bunch of them..... infested places just become a straggler now and then... which you can totally handle. And a little bit goes a long way A
works wonders I would recommend this I was introduced to this by someone else I was a little iffy at buying it at first but I'm glad I did I do not have a bug in my house now putting this and cracks and crannies I've only used it once and I seen the results within the first week would highly recommend and buy again
This is what the professionals use for ants. One time payment to an exterminator and I took note of what he was using and found it on Walmart. Very effective.
a great product that works fully and quickly. it lasts where you place it for a long time and keeps killing. This is the only product I use on the ghost ants found in Florida.
I had carpenter ants eating my garage after I pulled the old wood and put the stuff out.they were dead all over the place. works great. i bought more the spring and put out just in case so far. No dead ants no live ants i can see
this was advertised as the absolute best and final option against ants. not only do they have to wait for it to be shipped and not available in the store, when used exactly as instructed against the exact ants listed on the package, they completely ignored it. I know that ants have tastes that changed and tried it again a week later hoping they would take this supposedly very powerful substance back to the queen, but they were far more interested in much much cheaper baits then this very expensive one that supposedly is a slam dunk. I would not recommend it at all, and after spending this amount of money should request a refund.
