This works great in my opinion, my daughter's hair looks great after doing her locs. It has a great smell, it's a thick texture. Which is something that I like very much for my daughter's thick locs. I did not see any flaking or build up since I only used a little just to give it a neat look !

smells amazing. has a really good hold even if you are someone who swears a lot, it doesn't wash away. it's an amazing product for a great price. it doesn't have any flaking issues, it's easy to was the excess off your hands and doesn't leave a oily residue, works great for edges and maintaining frizz.

As a professional cosmetologist this product is great when used with braiding. It gives a great hold and I never have clients complain about build up, when taking styles down however my clients do get shampooed every two weeks when they get styled.

African Pride Black Castor Miracle Braid, Loc, %26 Twist Gel holds very well. I love to add some oil as well so there is not tacky look when using it on edge of the hair line.

Great product! It doesn't flake, works great with other products, it doesn't leave a white cast, doesn't melt like some other brands, and it has great hold. I will continue to repurchase.

First time using I did my sons some locs just started they journey using this product it lays every piece of hair down smells great not greasy and I pair it with they 5oils by African pride as well after using this I also did me a high bun and used this I'm natural and it's got my hair still in tack for two weeks now

I'm so SICK OF WALMART!! I got rid of Walmart plus for this exact reason! Everytime you order from these people there damaged, expired, used and contaminated products. I just opened my package and of course the gel is broken and someone put their finger in it! So now I have to drive to the store or wait 3 weeks for a return to process if I mail it back. What's the point of delivery if I constantly have to return to the store?

I like the product, but when I first got it, the person that delivered my product must've dipped their fingers in my stuff. I don't play that and then they go scrape it on the side. Why would you leave? Fingerprints in it dirty

I like this product. Ordered online and used the Walmart service to get it. My issue is with Walmart's quality control of their products. This was opened AND someone wiped a finger through it! Finger slide through the product and I hadn't even used it yet. Very disappointing. I kinda like using the product first and not have someone “test” it out and then I pay full price for a “used” product! Do better Walmart or African Pride. Thanks!
