I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE THIS ITEM FOR MY BUYING PLEASURE. IT'S BEEN A PART OF MY CHILDHOOD !!! AND TO MY SURPRISE.... IT WAS REAL LEGIT, SO MANY FAKE ONES OUT THERE... BUT THIS WAS THE REAL- DEAL. I PUT IT ON LIKE AN AFTER BATH SPLASH. IT'S SMELLS AWESOME !!! THANK YOU.

Cologne Made for a God
What was advertised and promised was a light, powdery, violet scent, light and gentle enough for a baby. In my mind this would be a scent so delicate it would barely be a whisper. But, this cologne did not whisper. It was more of shout back in time to the 1950's and Brylcream. More suited as a dad or grandfather's aftershave. It lingers invasively for a long time, in your hair, on your clothes, on your nose, your taste buds. Only a shower will tamp it away. All wrong and too long. Way too strong for a baby. I kind of wondered how long it had been since anyone at the company had smelled this cologne and why the words 'violets' and 'baby' were even used as a description. Maybe for a Herculean baby. Sorry, does not work for this baby.
