Very nice portable unit! My central air unit went out on me and needed something quick, reasonable but that would do the job! This little guy met my expectations! Cooled my whole bar down within a few hours during 90 something degree weather!!! Of course it wasn't the same as the central air would have done but it made it a whole lot better and bearable to be in. Not able to speak on the heating part because I haven't tried/needed it yet but hopefully that will work just as good. Definitely recommend well worth the price!
Having problems with my a/c so I ordered this one to keep me cool until my main a/c got fixed. So far it has worked great. The temp has been 100 outside ,but this thing has kept my living room temp at a descent 75 degrees. It came with everything needed and worked right from the start. and it's not too noisy although it is bigger than I thought it would be.
I live in Arizona where it is very hot and I have it in a room that is almost 1100 sqft. And it's cooling the room with no problems. And for the price all I can say is WOW.
This is perfect for a studio apartment. The installation was easy, the remote control was great. I also have the one for heat, not sure how it would work in the winter time. However I am super happy with the weather as it help me with the hot NYC weather I give it a 4 for now, as I am not sure about the heat.
The air %26 heat conditioner has been a lifesaver from this hot summer heat! It keeps my house nice and cool for me and my fur babies! I cannot comment on the heating part because it's not fall or winter yet!
I bought this because i like that it's heat and cooling ability. I live in a mobile home and it's a good option to take the chill out of the air. I've had it for 2 wks so far it's done what I expected it to do.
Unit cooled but not much air flow output. Specs a bit confusing about area it would cover. Our area met with what was described by the manufacturer. The unit worked nicely and cooled SLIGHTLY without much air flow output. Unfortunately, our space never fully cooled down to meet our expectations. We were trying to avoid a window a/c unit but finally broke down and got one. Our expectations have been met. We were able to return the unit to the store and received credit for the unit but NOT for the Protection Plan we purchased. Come to find out the Protection Plan was non-refundable. We feel this should have been made clearer before we purchased. Also....Walmart, if the unit is returned within the time allowed, the credit for the Protection Plan should also be allowed. Buyer's beware!
When on different modes and settings something is rubbing against something on the inside. Extremely annoying and loud. This is now the fourth one we have tried. Very disappointing!
Proformance is Soso. Noisy, when condensate tank is full draining is a pain. The drain for condensate is at the bottom of the system so you have to put the hole thing on something so you can put something under it to drain. For someone that can't lift DON"T get this one.
it showed up with broken parts - and when first trying to run it in cooling or dehumidify mode it made a horrible grinding noise and shock - i have reached out to the manufacture and have received no reply
