Airo Portable Air Conditioner 10000 BTU (7000 BTU DOE), Standing AC Unit with DIY Window Kit

I am an older woman and I live by myself. My son, who usually handle my heavy work, works out of town a lot and sometimes I can't wait on him. I knew hot weather was coming and needed help right away. It was easy to assemble (if you know how to work with tools) and now the hot weather is here and when I step inside my home from the heat outside, it is very refreshing

The airo air conditioner is one of the best purchase I made this year .this air conditioner has my bedroom ice cold and I love it and installing it is so easy I will recommend this air conditioner to all my friends and family

Super easy to install. I did need an extra hand to hold my window up, but I had a pice of wood, so ok. Some noises some times. PUT ON LEVEL GROUND AND LEAVE IT THERE.

I called the company about the vent panels not fitting my window as the advertisement states it will, the person could hardly speak English and they said they would call me back with a solution which they never did ! I had to cut the sliding vent assembly to make it fit the window which by the description I shouldn't have had to. With no tools available as I rent, I had to purchase a saw. Then the AC unit doesn't respond to the thermostat but turning off, it keeps running way past the set temperature I have to shut it off manually . then the next time it wouldn't turn on at the set temperature I'm handy capped and am not able to return it. So save yourself the hassle and buy a different brand !!

I have used portable air conditioner units for over twenty years. Each time in an upstairs bedroom to make the room super cool for sleeping. My current bedroom is 15'x13'.(195sqft). I had a "port hole" i stalled through the exterior wall many years ago to eliminate the need or hassle of venting through a window. This unit was extremely easy to setup and is a quiet running machine. My major disappointment is that the machine can't keep the room below 71° with the down stairs central air conditioner set at 76°. My hope and expectations were that I would be able to keep my room at 68°. I bought this unit based on reviews plus it is rated for a much bigger area. Not sure of my next move except turn down the central air conditioner temperature at night.

The AC is working and was easy to install, however it struggles to cool the room under 150 sq ft efficiently.

I got a text message saying, this was delivered yesterday. I had nothing at my door I texted to let them know what's going on. They said, give it 2 days. I don't want to give it 2 days. I want to know where my product is. I've checked with the neighbors and no one has received anything

Worst ac it makes lots of noise after 2 months sounds like it's going to blow up would never buy again

I bought it May 2024 and it is not August 2024 and it will just stop working on its own. The display stays lit but it will stop blowing for not reason. I wake up hot and have to turn it off and back on again about 4 times a night. Of course it is past the return window. I knew I should have stuck with a brand that I know. I bought a warranty but it's worthless until the manufacturer warranty expires. Buy at your own risk. Never again for me.

Do not buy! This is a terrible unit that is only a money pit. It does not cool the area it says it does. Also, you will notice a big difference in your electricity bill because it uses a lot. We live in Maine and the few short days we have hot weather this unit had us getting a heavy electricity usage alert and was only ran it for about 8 or 9 hours a day.
