Very cute and looks just like the picture. The small wooden materials can be broken easily so be careful when assembling. Some of the pieces can be chipped or broken during shipping/delivery ( mine was chipped ) and the roof material is very flakey. Definitely have two people to assemble it and use a drill. I put it together by myself with a screw driver and it took about an hour or more. In the end the house was worth it for me! My outside cat loves it!!
Easy to assemble, arrived quickly, cute and functional. I originally got this for neighborhood cats but my dachshunds love it too! I added a ramp and cross beams on the roof because it was not very study. I also applied a clear coat as the wood is dry and does not feel weatherproof. I love this little house and enjoy watching the dogs and cats use it.
This is a great company.....good prices and great quality. I purchase from this company anytime. I've purchased three (3) cat houses and now looking for something much larger.
my cat loves this house sleeps in it all the time at home look cute and adorable
easy to put together, lightweight and easy to move around. it's beautiful and the cats already love it.
Small perfect house. It's cute. Easy to assemble
I was very pleased with the cat house. It was well made, easy to assemble and laid out just perfectly. We have a sweet farrow cat that I was not sure would take to it. She did take to the second story as she did not feel trapped and it had a roof cove, I added a nice heavy self heating pad for warmth. The landing at the top of the stairs is perfect for her food dish. I have a water dish on the ground next to the stairs. I don't know if we will ever be able to touch her, but she is happy with the house , feels safe and is safe in a fenced side yard.
1st is that none of the pieces fit together 2nd places I need to screw weren't even there so I had to use nails and 3rd the roof piece was impossible to put on idk if mine was a defective or something but the instructions did not fit with the structure was showing but since I had to go off and figure it out nails were a lot more helpful and sway more sturdier
First off, the cat they Photoshopped onto the pic makes this look 50% bigger than it is. That's good for keeping warm inside, but claustrophobic for a medium or larger cat. Despite other reviews, it is also not sturdy. The roof supports will not survive getting blown over in a windstorm, winter, or a falling tree branch. Or a hard lean. The pre-fab parts were not built square and the holes were not all properly drilled. The various parts were not all machined to fit flush, so while it's cute from a distance, up close, it looks cheap. Especially because the paint is thin to translucency, many of the edges were frayed out of the box, and part numbers were scrawled on outside edges. I doubt any of the wood is weatherproofed. That said, the instructions say it goes together in 45 minutes with a drill and 2 people and I managed in 90 minutes with a screwdriver and grit. Assembly really is that easy. If you keep it under the eaves, or just sticking out if you don't have gutters, the roof shingle really does work to keep it dry. The only quibble with the physical design is that, if this is your premium shelter for a stray rather than your budget playhouse for a pet, the over-door shingle will direct the water in the path of entry rather than away to the sides. There are degrees of wet and in a medium rain, it might worsen it despite keeping the inside dry. But if you only keep it out 3-season, keep it sheltered by the eaves, and have a fence or other wind buffer, it could last a couple years before it starts having issues. At $60 a year, that feels very worth it, and anything beyond that is a pleasant surprise. I'm glad I bought it despite my complaints.
Arrived messy in box, wood chips all over. Parts damaged. Roof material like hard rice all over falling off. Not good / safe for my cats indoors.
