Great movie. Excellent 4k transfer definitely worth watching and sharing with the new generation. Watched with some 13 15 year old and they were very impressed.

Great hand drawn animation. Very mature thought provoking anime. Up there with Ghost in the Shell and others as top anime of all time. Try to purchase the steelbook as well.

If you haven't seen Akira you aren't really into anime.

Ground breaking anime, beautiful and the 4K restoration really makes the colors pop. Excellent film.

A massive improvement from the original Blu Ray release in every way. The color saturation and contrast really give the film a much more vibrant look than ever before. It's apparent to me that a lot of labor went into restoring this film.

Unfortunately I'm only giving the overall satisfaction a low rating because I have not received the item yet as of March 5th *********.
