[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Akro bins are awesome. Great for sorting anything. The clear ones look great with just about any decor. I use them with a white louvered panel, which looks great. Bins are sturdy, very uniform and can be stacked fairly high while still being stable. The clear ones are not crystal clear, they are a little diffuse, which is actually nice. Easy to label with the little slot on the front. Great bins, love them for just about everything. #sweepstakes
I always need some extra storage space in my garage. That is true especially regarding small parts that use from time to time such as screws, bolts, nuts, washers, etc. That is why I got these small bins to help me organize everything. The sizes of the bins are 5 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 3 inches tall. There are 24 bins in the pack. The bins are made of hard and solid plastic. I like the color of the bins. It is bright blue which allows me to see well what is inside of each bin. But it is not only the color that is helpful for that but also the open front-end construction that exposes enough space inside to see right away what is inside so I do not have to guess. Another thing that is really helpful especially when I have many bins, is the possibility of having a small paper sign that can be inserted in the slots on the face of each bin. This allows me to organize and reorganize the bins in any order I need or feel more logical for my project. the bins are stackable and they stay well all together in one stack. I tried to stack up to six bins one on top of the other but it seems to me that such constriction may be not stable enough, and stacking only four bins is better although that would take more space on my desk.
These are the perfect size to organize with. They come in so handy for individual treats for children. You can organize all your crafts individually. I particularly like to put my various chargers in one so I don't have to rummage through the drawer! Not too small and not too large I find them “just right!”!
These are nice cubby bins. Great for use in the shop for bolts and things. Or could be used in the craft room for dividers. Kitchen cabinet could hold different spices or packets. They are made of sturdy plastic that will hold up for years. They stack neatly also to minimize space. We will nake a wood rack to slide these in.
What can you say? I worked for 19 years in a manufacturing environment at two different companies (one aerospace defense contractor, and one commercial electronics manufacturer). These are the classic name-brand Acro-Bins that many manufacturing plants across the U.S. use to organize their small parts on the factory floor. You see them in virtually every manufacturing plant you visit. The colors are bright and distinct, and the bins are durable and beautifully molded, having smooth surfaces that are easy-to-clean. They're tough, and it really takes a lot to kill one of these bins, even when you overload or otherwise abuse them. I've seen technicians use them like building-blocks or bricks, stacking them up on the bench to support heavy power supplies and other test equipment at a particular height. (Not really what they're made for, but it works.) Just don't put them in an environmental test chamber (i.e. freezer/oven) at an unreasonably high temperature, or hit them with a hammer when they're frozen at -40 degrees C. Now I use them in my company's airplane hangar, to organize nuts, bolts, and other small parts on the workbenches. And just in case you're wondering: No, I haven't been bribed with money or "free stuff" to write this review, and I've never worked for Acro-Bin - I just like good tools. These are "the good stuff", and everything else is just a copy. Gotta love 'em.
First off this review is not for part number 30210, hanging stacking containers set of 24. What I received was part number 30150, nesting containers set of 12. These containers are about 11 1/2" x 8 1/4" x 4". They are not overly rigid but definitely sturdy enough to load up with heavy items you want to organize. They have 4" depth to hold items in and nest together well when not in use. They are designed with a front pull tab like feature which allows you to use it like a drawer almost whether used in a refrigerator, cabinet or on shelves. These are very usable to organize crafts, food, smaller tools, toys, snacks (my favorite), my collection of pens/pencils/markers, and most anything you want to keep grouped together. The good thickness of the plastic makes me believe these will be useful for a long time. It is designed with many support points which makes the containers strong enough to support heavy items.
Ive built a somewhat very nice and large workbench over the past couple years and these screw containers go very nicely with my home shop to hold different size screws or anything that needs to be organized. Plastic is heavyduty and these are stackable or can be attached to hang by the 2 holes in the back of container.
I got these for my husband. He is a neat freak in the garage. Everything has a place. He likes that these bins are open for ease. They are durable, can be hung on wall or just stacked on a shelf. I would think these bins could also be used for a crafts room.
price was cheaper than the rest of them so I ordered two sets just to get an idea I was thinking of ordering more sets.. but only two items came in.. good quality highly recommended but not happy they only send me two when it said sets.. sure enough went back to read the article and now it said each but it didn't say that when I placed the order..
Ordered two packs of 24, received a total of 2...missing 46. Return experience was FLAWLESS. Two stars for return process. Third party vendor miscounted.
