I love this movie!
Huge fan of the original as I grew up watching it over and over and over again. Will Smith did a wonderful job reinventing the genie and yet staying true to the original character. Both Aladdin and Jasmine did the same. What a delightful movie! The singing, the dancing. Love it!

I love this movie. It stays true to the story line and we can see what happens to Genie. The effects are great.

Nice, but Poor Lighting
I saw the cartoon years ago, which was ok, but not great. Peabo Bryson has a lovely singing voice. This live people movie is pleasing, but I've given it only 3 stars b/c too many scenes were filmed with poor lighting. It was, however, good enough to have me revisit the cartoon version, which I've ordered.

Poor sound quality
The sound quality is poor for a few seconds during the Friend Like Me song, but the rest of the DVD is fine. It's is just disappointing to sing to watch the movie and the Sound cuts out during probably the best song of the movie.

when my daughter opened the dvd there was no dvd. she was so disappointed. she wants to bring it in for a new one please.
