I have been using this for almost 3 years now and I won't ever use anything else. This is the best. It is so moisturizing and makes my skin soft and supple as well as clean. I smooth it on my face and then wipe off with hot wash cloth. It removes all make up effortlessly and even smooths rough areas as if it is exfoliating. I can't believe how smooth and plump as well as luminous it makes my skin feel. I am 65 and get compliments on how much younger I look compared to my age. I have used a lot of skin care products over the years. I just found this 2 1/2 years ago. And the price is a bonus. I purchased my 1st container of this in March 2023 and it has lasted for over 2 1/2 years! And no it has not gone rancid--it's still just like it was when I first opened it. Im getting low on it so I just ordered again because I don't ever want to run out. I pray they don't stop making this because I don't want to ever use anything else.

I had used this for years, before getting seduced by the makeup remover wipes. Now I'm back, because Albolene is gentler to my aging skin, and still does the best job removing tough makeup without excessive wiping and rubbing. I used to use it to remove theatrical white greasepaint, and now it removes Nyx with ease, while leaving my skin feeling baby soft and moist. Virtually scent free, and non-irritating.

The all around greatest product for skin care. Easy application %26 easy clean up. Doesn't dry out or become sticky. Leaves skin smooth. Wipes clean with a paper towel.

It is one of the best makeup remover creams I have ever used, it cleanses all impurities leaving the skin very moisturized but without feeling greasy, I love it and I recommend it.

Albolene has been a staple in many women's makeup removal routines for many years. I once saw a comparison of identicle twin sisters-one who use a soap-like removal method, and the other who had used Albolene for 15 years. The later twin looked a good 10 years younger than her sister! This is a great way to cleanse without stripping your skin and having to rebuild moisture through more products. My routine is cleanse, a light serum, a light moisturizer. I'm in my early 70's, have used this for some years, and no one ever guesses my age!

Great product ! I have been using Albolene for over 40years and my skin fell like butter. It's more than make up remover, I use it all over my body . If you don't have smooth skin use Albolene after you shower and leave it on until your next shower and continue this process and you will see how smooth your skin will be. Use it on the kids, the earlier you start using Albolene on the kids you really will see their skin feel like butter. My children are now 32 and 35 and they look like they are 15 years old I'm 60years old and strangers compliment my face how smooth and radiant skin look they can't believe I'm sixty! Oh by the way, I use Albolene as my moisturizer after I wash my face and I don't wash it off until I wash my face the next day! P.S. Don't saturate your face or your body with Albolene it very light so you don't need to be shiny it will still work. Great for Stretch Marks on your belly or body and great for working out to loose weight. When working out make sure don't miss putting Alobene on your stomach it will burn the fat. This was recommended by a friend. I had never heard of it before. I thought I would give it a try. It is a wonderful product . removes make up without drying out your skin. My face actually looks much better, even fine lines are softer. And at a great price!!

This stuff is amazing! I initially started using balm makeup removers a few months ago because my skin is very sensitive especially around my eyes and I found with other makeup removers the skin around my eyes would be so irritated. I dreaded putting mascara on because just after one removal process my skin would burn. Heaven forbid I had fancy events multiple days in a row… I started with a different brand of hydrating makeup remover balm and it worked just fine but it came in a tiny tub and cost way more that Albolene. When I ran out i decided to opt for the cheaper option because we are on a tight budget but honestly it is so much better! My mascara came off so easy with barely any rubbing or product. I also rubbed it all over my face just for the hydration and when I wiped it all off with a cloth my skin felt so good! It says you don't need to wash your face after using it but I did because I use other skin products. Even after washing with my cleanser my skin still feels super soft and hydrated! I can't wait to keep using this! It is also so easy to use I will definitely be using it to feel clean and refreshed on my redeye flight coming up! Highly recommend!

Only takes a little to remove all makeup, including waterproof. Just started using, but like it so far. This is a fairly large tubbso it will probably last me awhile. Only gave it 4 stars because it can leave a film on your eyes if you don't get it all washed off.

I have “glass skin” as a daily tretinoin user; however, with glass skin also comes severely dry skin and serious skin peeling, making typical facial cleansers a non-option. I decided to give this “moisturizing cleanser” a try as a cheaper alternative to CleanIt Zero's cleansing balm (which I love). While the texture is very similar to CleanIt Zero's, it absolutely fails as a cleanser. At first use, it made my skin feel baby soft. However, when I woke up the next morning, my skin felt like I hadn't washed it in a week. My “glass skin” had also seemingly disappeared over night, with my skin appearing duller than it's ever looked in my life. My fine lines, that aren't noticeable unless you look at my face very closely, had also somehow turned into deep lines that you could see from across the room. Still, I decided to give this cleanser a try for another night. After the second night, my skin only worsened in appearance, and I started to develop small pimples on my forehead (despite using the strongest available acne prescription on my skin every night). I tried simply rinsing it off with water as I recalled the instructions, or someone's review, saying you could rinse it off with water if desired. Not only could I not get it off with water, but I had to use a regular facial cleanser TWICE to get it off. The ONLY reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because I've found that it helps prevent regular facial cleansers from drying my skin out. So, what I do now is apply this stuff as a “pre-cleanser” to my skin before washing my face with a regular cleanser. Though, I still find myself having to use a regular cleanser twice just to get this stuff off my face. In all, it's a lot of unnecessary work when products like CleanIt Zero's cleansing balm exist, which don't require the use of an additional cleanser. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this product at all. It's one of the worst, if not the worst, facial cleansers I've ever used in my life. I would honestly recommend Aquaphor as a “cleansing balm” (which clearly isn't a cleansing balm) over this product.
