This works very well! It curls up my hair without a crunch or scent. It doesn't take much to do the job either. Cantu makes excellent products without beating your wallet to death. I also love their body cream. It smells like honey and shea butter and is way more moisturizing than anything from BBW and doesn't cost $30 a tube. The thermal protectant oil for hair is good too!

Truthfully, as someone with 3b/3c hair, I usually avoid Cantu products, as many are too heavy for my hair. BUT this curling mousse is so lightly, and it really makes a huge different in keeping my curls looking defined all day long, without making them crunchy or frizzy. I prefer to apply this product on wet to damp hair, and crunching in it. I like how it smells, but it's not overly perfumed in my opinion. It can also be refreshed really easily the next day by misting my hair with water and re-scrunching, which is super appreciated, because the same is not true for all mousses or gels! And it's lasted a really long time, which impresses me, because I looooove to use too much product when it comes to my hair hahaha. It's so light weight that even my friend with wavy/curly hair has found success with this product, and we usually can't share products in that way, since my hair is more coily than hers, and a lot of products way her hair down, and causes it to lose the curl, but not this mousse! It's pretty affordable, and while the ingredients don't amaze me, it doesn't seem to positively or negatively affect the health of my hair. It's a great styling product though, for day to day uses.

I purchased this item because I needed a mousse product to put into a small carry-on travel pump - and this looked like one of few products I could pour into the bottle and take on a plane. To my surprise, it has become part of my daily cocktail of hair products! The texture of the foam is soft and light, not stiff like many pressurized mousse products. It also smalls fantastic! The product itself enhances curls without being sticky. If you're looking for something that matches this description - look no further! This is an excellent product!

I have been using the Cantu line of hair products for over five years. After I wash my hair and while my hair is still wet, I apply the Cantu Wave Whip Curling Mousse along with the Cantu Curling Cream. I love the way my hair looks and feel after it’s dry. My hair doesn’t feel hard and brittle.

I received this item as a sample, and it ended up becoming my go to in styling and wrapping my hair. I have a sensitive scalp that flakes when too many additives are added into the base ingredients but this one was perfect. The product application is seemlessly a part of my shower routine. The way the curls hold their shape after air drying is amazing.

I love that this product helps to hold my natural waves and it is so weightless, you use a lot and it never does with a crunchy feeling. Typically when I let my hair air dry, it does with a very inconsistent wave and very frizzy. I highly recommend and give it 5 stars without a doubt. For best coverage apply with a wide tooth comb or a brush. Once it dries, you can run your fingers through it and it's left feeling soft! If you see any little pieces setting quickly and frosting just wet and out a little more on that piece. On day two, just a little water and maybe a little more mouse, scrunch and it still looks great. Pictures show fully saturated after applying and what it looks like 12hrs later. I get so many compliments on my hair when I wear it natural like this!

I really wanted to love this wave whip curling mousse but wasn't great. It left my hair dull, my curls not so curly, and my waves flat . I was willing to try it a few times more but I couldn't get past the smell. I am very sensitive to smells and needed to wash it out of my hair within an hour of wearing it. My throat felt like it was closing and I had such a headache.

After picking up the item in the store. The protective plastic cap was missing on the item, as it it could have possible used or mishandled by the store.

Bad!! Does not work and smells funky. I WOULD NOTTTT RECOMMEND.! I put it on after taking a shower and it made my hair tangled. :(
