Cantu Avocado Styling Gel, 18.5 oz.

Excellent value. Mild, pleasant smell. Gel was easy to apply. left my loose lifeless curls with more definition and volume which I seldom find in many hair gels with my curl pattern (I’ve used anything from high end to drug store: Pattern, Curlsmith, Verb, Joico, Rizos, Mielle, ECO, NYM, Sheamoisture, Pantene, LA Looks, Miss Jessie). This has been hands down the best gel I’ve used in years. Also worked on my 3 year olds curls. She has very tight curls and thick hair. This gel held up over nap time. I broke the cast after nap and it was perfect. Did give her some shrink but when I broke the cast and ran my fingers through some sections it loosed up length wise. I highly recommend trying.

I love this hairgel. The smell is nice and doesn't flake. It leaves your hair super shiny. Good for slick ponytails, braids, buns you name it. The styles are endless. Cantu products are thee best! Thanks Cantu I love your entire line of quality Ingredient products. The curl cream is awesome too.

I love this product so far. I have all-natural 4C hair that has a hard time holding moisture at times. I've used other gels and moisturizers that work for a few hours but by the end of the night, my hair felt dry and looked dull. I've had this hydrating gel for about a week and have only needed to apply twice. my hair has felt soft and moist. My coils are beautifully defined and shiny. On day 2 after applying the 1st time, I did spray a VERY LIGHT mist of water and it worked well. The product seems to have some "water based" qualities because it still felt hydrating just with a little spritz of water. I didn't have to apply the actual gel for another 2 days. I haven't noticed any real buildup and it's not greasy either. (No messed up pillow cases or couch cushions lol). The gel is very light with a pleasant smell. I've already recommended it to my sister who has 4B type hair. It's definitely worth a try.

Not only does this make my curls pop, it also doesn’t flake. I really like the smell and it doesn’t make my hair frizz. I definitely recommend this product to my curly girlies!

I fell in love with this gel. I have curly hair and this gel has a really good hold to it. I and super big on scents to where no matter how great a product works, if it doesn't smell good then I WON'T use it so I love that this not only works great but smells really good too! I will be trying the shampoo and conditioner next for sure.

I used a site to check these ingredients against a list of known ingredients which clog follicles and pores, suffocate hair strands, cause hair damage, etc. and these ingredients are not on their Danger List. It’s not the greatest of all time, but for the price, this product is great, safe, and pairs well with my moisturizer. (My HAIR TYPE: 3C, Medium Porosity, Coarse, High Density/Thick.)

Cantu products are awesome and never a disappointment. Got this for my teen as she wanted to try it and she loves it. She says it holds her natural curls good and keeps the frizz down. It doesn’t get too hard when it dries which is what she likes most. We definitely recommend that you try it!

This is great if you use it Immediately after washing your hair,when it's still very wet,but uf you want to use it for Curl control,you will need to add water to the hair before applying this gel, other wise the Curls will not stay and there will be a white residue left in the hair!!!!

flaky, dandruff look. i have naturally curly hair and these products just make a mess in my hais, my clothes and on my shoulders and chest. definitely not cute for anyone. smells great but it is not work the flake off look or white residue it leaves behind.
