Aleene's Fabric Fusion Permanent Fabric Adhesive Glue 8 fl oz

This stuff 👌 works great!!! I mean really good. I use it on paper, cardboard and clothing. Simply hold the two surfaces together for a few minutes and let it dry and viola' Provides a good strong bond that even survives the washer and dryer.

My first use of this product was to glue non-slip grip to the back of a set of kitchen rugs (foam non-slip grip to the plastic-y backing of the rug). Many months later, it's still holding strong! I also use it to keep knots of crochet seams from coming apart in the wash. I'm a seamstress, so I don't use it to hold seams together, but I have used it to keep the sides of fabric bows attached to the dress where I don't want stitches showing so the bows don't wrinkle up in the wash, and it works great for that, too!! I haven't yet found anything this glue won't work on! To keep it from ruining things like 'curtins', just apply a small amount to each piece that you are attaching together, wait a good 45 seconds or so, then gently press together and leave it alone for a few hours. I don't normally like Aleen's products... I only purchased this because there was nothing else in-stock at the time with enough ounces to do my rug project, and I'm glad I did, because I use this all the time and would recommend it to anyone!!

Easy to use and works perfectly

A seam in my son's jacket had separated, leaving the edges frayed. It was not large but would get worse if not repaired right away. This glue allowed me to repair it without completely taking the jacket apart, adding a patch and re-sewing. This was a life saver and just in time for our extreme cold weather so the jacket was ready to sear!

Worked really well to hem material that I was making into shades. So far it's holding well and isn't overly stiff. Easy to work with. Highly recommend

Good quality product for my craft project

Used it to prevent thread unraveling on my new clothes. Also good on the back of buttons to stop the threads coming undone...before the buttons fall off. I even used it to put back a torn fishing shirt...the Fabric Fusion lasted many washings. ;))

Adhesive will yellow under certain conditions. Be sure to test on lots ghtet colored fabric swatches prior to use.

Seam wasn't sticking denim together so I used more. It did help but glue was absorbed by denim. Clamped seam. The result? The entire shoulder strap for my purse was saturated %26 tacky. 2-4 hour dry time??? 12 hours later just as tacky. Using a hot iron over %26 over again 12 hours later helped some but still tacky. (Similar problems with the quick dry formula I used to adhere trim.) Had my preferred brand been available for pickup I never would have tried this. Returning for sure!

I used it to hem up a pair of curtains. It does not dry "clear" it dries wet-looking. Also, it did not hold. I could the hem down. I'm guessing you can not glue things to themselves.
