Alien 6-Film Collection (Blu-ray) (Instawatch Edition) [2017]

They're not 4K, but newer 4K transfers(especially of James Cameron flicks) are starting to use inferior AI-upscaled transfers that ruins the image quality, so this is as good as I expect we'll be getting for physical media for a long time. I say go for it if you're on the fence, at least two of these are timeless classics and the rest generally have their great moments.

great set of movies. the beginning of the franchise. would recommend. they still hold up. great storyline.

Unlike the title suggests, you're actually getting 10 movies. Which are a bonus, because for 4 of the movies you're getting 2 versions of the movie, Theatrical and Director's Cut. With the price it's a great deal.

While not what some would condider a "complete" collection as it doesnt have the newest film or the AVP, it has the films i wanted from a collection at a price i think is reasonable, as the discs have multiple versions and do not seem bootleg.

It's nice having all the movies in a single pack to save space. The movies are great, though some of the later ones aren't as good as the first three.

Wanted to try it out. And for that price how could I say no!

Good collection. Some DVD's I never would have seen if I hadn't bought this collection.

my alien case came with a broken corner piece, but alien discs were fine. I'm gonna have to buy a new Blu-ray 6-Films case for my alien case, and remove the cover slip, put another new Blu-ray case

The movies that worked were fantastic. All in one cover at a great price. Two of the disc would not play. Just stopped playing requiring the blueray player to be restarted . Returned with no hassle from walmart.

You dont get the outerbox as is pictured, and (at least on mine) no digital codes. the discs were properly in their inserts so they moving around and got scratched making Prometheus and Covenant skip a few scenes (too badly scratched.) the first walmart wouldnt even do a return and second one also didnt want to till a manager came out and provided a refund due to it being falsely advertised (no slipcover.) i guess it being damaged wasnt enough?
