after receiving a letter from my water company about possible lead in the water, I purchased the testing strips. I'm very pleased with being able to test my water myself.
The city water company had been working on the pipes. When they turn the water back on, we had a very strong bleach smell. I purchased this kit to make sure our water was safe to drink. The kit came in fast and worked perfect perfectly.
The strips came up within the range listed when I tested my tap water, and my carbon filtered water. I wanted to know where my flouride and clorine values were, and it's not included on these strips. They are a good value for the quantity of strips in the bottle, and they cover a lot of water issue values. I bought a counter top water filtration tank with flouride and chlorine filters to address this problem being on city water lines. I would buy these again. Great price!
Very easy to use and seems very accurate
it's was easy to use. the only thing i would change, is the label with the colors. the colors on the bottle didn't line up with the colors on the test strip.
Works well but matching color samples against matching criteria's not user friendly
For the money these test strips tells you if your water is safe. They are hard to read to me and takes some guess work. But overall I would recommend if you are on a budget.
Like every other review the color match was not well coordinated and hard to read. But having something at a fair price is reassuring.
These strips are hard to read the results. If I follow the directions the small squares do not match up properly, so I doubt the accuracy of the results.
The product has a manufacturing and an expiration date three years from the manufacturing date. The product that I received was manufactured in April 2024 thus reducing the useful time I can use it. Please don't send us your old products.
