A lot of people do not like can spinach, but we do. It tastes different than frozen or fresh, but it is so convenient and tasty to throw into soup. Frozen is better for dip or creamed, but canned is good for anything soupy or stew. Also works good to puree into a sauce.
Popeye has a full can of spinach chopped and stored in water. the taste is amazing great for spinach artichoke dip and the kids love it with Popeye on the can.
I like spinach. I add it to my rice dishes with a little onions, butter, and... just enjoy a tasty meal. (My favorite side dish to chicken.) This brand is my go-to. Nice spinach flavor and texture. I recommend.
Popeye spinach is the best now I do buy the baby spinach and I have bought Frozen chopped spinach my baby spinach was bad and also I had was the Frozen I squeezed and squeezed it out so I can make it with my cornbread feta cheese onions and you put the and they put the spinach in it and you just bake it it's a great dish I would tell you the name in Greek but the text speech doesn't know how to spell it exactly hey but if you mix it like that use the Dave's cornbread get you one can of spinach and squeeze it out really good chop you up some onion and throw you some feta cheese in there if you like Feta cheese you got to make it with a feta cheese or you don't like it at all and bake that cornbread you're going to love it that's if you love onions feta cheese and spinach and Dave's cornbread is the best I've tried others it's the best I also like the Dave's cornbread with the jalapenos, Dave's cornbread is the best and I like Alan green beans Italian cut Alice has good product
I Love Popeyes Spinach. delicious flavor. You can bake with other veggies it dilutes it and even is more delicious hey Walmart the Driver never delivered but I still am a Popeyes fan 💪
In our humble opinion this is the best canned spinach on the market. We add some margarine, thick salsa sauce and Lawry's seasoned salt and simmer. That is some good stuff.
What's not to like? It tastes decent and has Popeye on the label. I mixed it with some chopped ham to make a tasty meal. Only way it could improve is less liquid content.
What has happened with this brand... I use to get a cup or more of spinach once drained but lately I'm lucky to get a 1/2 of cup. Also, disappointed in quality of flavor lately. I will be giving another brand a try, this is not worth the cost.
Look how y'all put this other label on top and it's not even that can really
On Wal-Mart's website. This product shows it has 120% vitamin A and 10% vitamin C. They have this listed on the nutritional information. I just got the product delivered and the label shows Zero vitamins. Now that's what I call being dishonest. I won't buy it again.
