Del Monte Cut Green Beans, Canned Vegetables, 14.5 oz Can

We always by this brand because it has the best taste, they use sea salt and the price is good. we bought the 24 pack this time because they were a good price and we will use them all. The taste and texture are tasty, not rubbery. My entire family likes these beans.

Del Monte is known for their quality canned veggies %26 fruits. This brand green beans are always in my cart. I use this particular brand to prepare my family's favorite green bean dish-Southern Green Beans. It's a great way to get green veggies into our diet and weekly meal plan. They may be a little overprice at $2 a can but to me the quality is worth the price.

These were a pleasant surprise! We normally buy frozen green beans, but I decided to give the canned version another try. I expected them to be overly salty, but they weren't at all. They had a fresh flavor and were firm yet tender without being mushy. They made a quick and easy side dish, and I'd definitely buy them again.

I have recently discovered iDelmonte's flavor is far superior to other canned green beans. I grew up on Libby's.....that was the brand that my parents akways bought. However, over the years I found myself always buying Delmonte. No particular reason I know of other maybe the price point was better at some point. But the other day I bought Libby's. I was both shocked and disappointed. They did not measure up! I am going back to Delmonte and will never buy another brand again!

The Taste is fine. However I noticed that when the price gets reduced it appears that the quantity of string beans in the can is less than if I were to go to Raley's, Nugget or Safeway and buy it for 3-4 times more the Walmart price. The other issue is Walmart will limit you to four cans when you use pick-up online. You really need eight cans to make the actual quantity of four full cans at other grocers with the same amount. So it would appear that there's more water in the Walmart Del Monte cans.

What a disappointment Del Monte. I've been buying your canned goods since I was old enough to shop on my own in the late 60's. I don't know what's going on with your canned veggies the last few years. Maybe it's lack of inspections, quality control or something else. It seems like everything and anything is aloud to go into the cans. Stems, wood and other foreign objects. The green beans seem to be a bit more mushy then they used to be. Prices keeping going up while quality keeps going down. I remember my parents always talking about the quality of goods not being the way they used to and how expensive they got. I used to roll my eyes at them but now I get it.

These items were delivered today. One Cut Green Beans and the other French Style. Shopper needs to pay attention! How does the scanner used even allow this mistake?

I received 2 different types of green beans. I ordered cut and received 2 cut and 2 French style.

I stopped eating great value because the stem was always in the can and then I started eating nothing but del Monte. Within the past year I've been picking stems out. Instead of 2 cans for my family of 5 I'm having to use about 4 to 5 cans. The vase Green beans are getting smaller and smaller more water than green beans. Today took the cake. There was hardly any and I buy the 4 pack green beans. 3 of the cans were like the picture below.

The description says it was a multipack, which is what I ALWAYS buy. Didn't look at the price, and wound up with only one can, not four. I was extremely disappointed in conjunction with all the other problems I have been having with this particular store.
