Bush's Great Northern Beans, Canned Northern Beans, 15.8 oz Can

My grandmother always made these beans using dried ones. Somehow she added just enough water to make a thick "gravy". I tried for years to cook this type of bean the way my grandmother did. but the "gravy" was always too thin. Then I discovered Bush's canned Great Northern Beans. I bought one can and they are just way my grandmother cooked them. I've never gone back to using dried Great Northern Beans.

Okay, Bush Great Northern Beans are great to add to soups or other dishes that call for great northern beans. But I have to say that I tried Equate brand and they are great too. Besides, they cost a lot less. I always pour the canned beans into a colander and rinse until the water is clear. Equate is my brand now!!

These beans were absolutely delicious in our stew! It gave the stew some added substance! We all enjoyed it. I highly recommend this product for it's great taste and excellent quality!!!

These beans are consistent and taste fresh. I use them to make pizza beans as well as rinsed then put in my salads. They are mild and have had no issues with taste, can dents, or use by dates.

These are the only canned beans that don't contain Disodium EDTA, which is banned in other countries. Sadly we have to check ingredient lists for things like this in the US.

Taste like home cooking. On a cool day I often like a bowl of beans and cornbread. Just a Country Girl at heart. I reminds me of meals my mother made when I came home from School on a really cold day as a child. The Bus stop was quite a distance from our home.

Excellent for beans and ham. I use these rather than dry beans. They are just as good and half the work👍

Bushes beans always taste great. The quality is perfect and the price is right. I will continue to purchase bushes beans in the future.

maybe it's my taste buds. ithey just had no flavor. I fried ham piece's in butter and put 3 cans of beans in a da ton of smoked garlic an herbs onion powder I ate them as I had nothing else prepared and spent 12 00. on the beans and for a small package of Smithfield minced ham.

I ordered four cans of Great Northern Beans for a specific recipe. What I received was one can of Great Northern, one can of black beans, and two cans of cannelloni. I am going to have to go to another store and get what I need, because these will not do.
