Allens Veg-All Original Mixed Vegetables, 15.0 OZ

Veg-all vegetables are great for homemade soups and stews. They have provided consistency in taste and are really good as just a side dish . They have a great shelf life but doubt they will stay in the cupboard that long. Veg-all casserole is one of my favorites., or is it the excellent chicken pot pie. This is a must for the holidays or every day of the week.

These are the ONLY mixed vegetables I use when I make my chili - Yes - CHILI. Two cans of veg-all mixed vegetables, two cans of dark red Kidney beans, two cans of crushed tomatoes, two medium / large yellow onions, and one and a half to two pounds of lean ground beef. Add salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder to taste and chili powder to match your heat level. In a pot, brown the beef, add the onions till softened and add can ingredients. cook on medium heat until cooked throughout. add water to increase level of sauce - enjoy. Got this recipe off a matchbook back in the 1950s. I've been using it ever since and it's always been a hit, especially around Halloween and in the fall.

Veg All is tasty and super convenient! I always keep a can, in my pantry for a quick, nutritious side dish. My sweet husband made dinner for us the other evening. He bypassed the freezer. Got a can of VegAll and a can of chicken, rice and eggs. We had delicious fried rice in about 20 minutes. The texture of the vegetables is not mushy, as is sometimes true with frozen, mixed vegetables.

Allens Veg-All brand is the best of all canned mixed vegetables. The texture and flavor is consistent, and it's great for making chicken salad for tostadas. I appreciate that Walmart continues to sell this product in store and at a reasonable price.

My family does not really care for veggies. We definitely do not eat them as we should. When we do, this is the brand I always purchase. You get a good assortment and they taste good!!

these are great for Shephard s pie or making your own pot pies either with a crust like crescent rolls or potatoes a little shredded cheese bake til golden brown on top .

It's a very good mix of veggies, tastes great. There's a little too much sodium, but it's really good.

I love using VegAll in soups and stews. So yummy. Also tends to have a long shelf life. Easy open can with a tab.
